Re: What wing is best at scoring in the paint?
I have the stats right here, Lebron shoots 34% of his shots in the paint, not including the times where hes fouled. Thats still a heck of a lot for his position though. 66% of his shots are jumpers. What I am impressed by is that 9% of his shots are dunks.Originally posted by rbrunsNBA 2K18 ratings for several seasons generated from advanced analytics using the SportsCrunch system:

He doesn't take many jumpers though, literally 85-90 % of his shots are in the paint or right near the lane.NBA 2K18 ratings for several seasons generated from advanced analytics using the SportsCrunch system:

Re: What wing is best at scoring in the paint?
Ron Artest and Paul Pierce are both better than Maggette at points in the paint.
Pierce has done it as much, but he's a vastly different player when he attacks the basket. I say hes better because if he wants to attack, he is pretty damn good at it. Not too long ago he led the League in FTs.
No one is going to argue Artest, the guy is hard as a rock, hes built, he just abuses wings in the paint. He can post them up or drive on them, give a nudge to freeze them, then elevate for the easy 2/ and 1Comment

Don't overlook the NBA's future 6th man of the year Jerry Stackhouse. He overpowers most SG's down low. In fact he's averaging like 6.2 FT attempts per game coming off the bench simply because he is so aggressive at attacking the rim.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

What about Shawn Marion? I sound like a homer but cmon, the guy is so fast and he just pulls up and shoots that little 10 footer in the paint.Comment

Maybe I have been watching a different NBA for 31 years, but guards don't usually play the wings. 3's and occasionally 4's spend most of their time on the wings.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!
