Who's better player, Jason Kidd/Steve Nash.

I'm not here to bash Steve Nash b/c I argue he's not MVP, I think w/o a doubt he's an MVP candidate. But I think people have kind of written Kidd off as a player b/c of his injury and age. But since he's gotten healthy, he has been unbelievable, and look what he's done for Carter, Carter looks like the Carter we used to love. As I type, Carter has 40 points with most of the 4th quarter left against the Pistons!!! I personally feel Kidd is better than Nash is, even now, look at what he's done this year since he's gotten healthy w/a squad with poor overall talent. Put him on that Suns team and I have no doubt they are the same team. Like I said, Nash is the mvp candidate, not kidd, b/c he's played the games, his team is amazing, and he is so important to that team.

but Kidd IS a better defender, just as good a passer, pushes the ball on the break, and has proven year after year he can take an average team to the Finals.

and how about Carter, now he's got 42 points since I started typing, he is resurrecting his career, I mean, he's only done this for about 10 games, but he didn't show any of this earlier in the season or the last 3 years. He is BALLIN.

i don't think carter's play can be all attributed to kidd

carter seriously was a great player in toronto, freaking like averaged 26 a game his sophmore season or something

he just got stupid and stopped trying, and thats what i hate about him, why did it take a trade for him to start playing hard again?

but i personally like kidd more than nash

I'm as big of Net fan as they come, but its still hard to decide between Kidd and Nash.

Nash is 10x better then Kidd in the half court, but Kidd elevates everyones game. He is making Billy Thomas who is on a 10 day contract look like he's been in the league for years.



And yes, you can't deny Carter's play since he's been in NJ. He's playing like the old VC.

I'm as big of Net fan as they come, but its still hard to decide between Kidd and Nash.

Not that Toronto could've predicted the way VC is playing now, but it was still one of the most lopsided trades I've seen in a while. Still don't know why they are wasting away Eric Williams up there.

Not that Toronto could've predicted the way VC is playing now, but it was still one of the most lopsided trades I've seen in a while. Still don't know why they are wasting away Eric Williams up there.

I wouldn't say that Kidd is 10x worse than Nash in half court. Offensively, I feel Kidd can post up and drive better than Nash can. I still feel that Kidd is a better passer, even in the half court, than Nash is. While I would not dare say that Kidd is a better 3 point shooter than Nash, if you look at their stats from this year, they are pretty similar. Now that I think about, Kidd is definitely still better than Nash.
