Need some help finding professional athletes salaries.

I'm writing a paper on pro althlete salaries for school and i'm having trouble finding stats on the salaries.I'm looking for average salaries for major leagues(NBA, MLB,NFL, ect...) and minor leagues(CBA, Minor League Baseball, ect...). Does anyone know of a site that has this info. Thanks for your help.

Although it may take a while, for the NBA you could average out the salaries from www.hoopshype.com in excel. Probably wouldn't be THAT hard to do. I've got no clue about the rest of them though...

Yea, but that has most of the individual salaries. He wants the average salary for the league.

I'm sure that kind of information is regularly accessible for the NBA because they calculate it in order to find out the value of the exceptions.

yeah i guess....

you could just add each team salary roll's up and divide by 30.

simple as that.

30 would get you average team salaries, but not average player. If he were looking for average player, you'd have to copy and paste all the individual salaries and use the average function in excel. You could estimate 15 players per team, but it wouldn't work out exactly...
