I think Utah’s issue going into the playoffs will always be Joker, AD, guys like that pulling Gobert from the rim where he’s not nearly as valuable to them. It seems as great as he is the last couple of years now he hasn’t been a massive plus for them in the playoffs as a defender.

It’s also part of the reason I think Myles Turner, Anthony Davis are just slightly more valuable defensively and should be getting some DPOTY love. Davis gets his due, Myles hasn’t even made a 2nd team yet which is just ridiculous.

I know with how basketball is played now positions are more fluid, but because I haven't seen him enough to evaluate for myself, is RJ Barrett actually a 2 or is he be better suited as a 3.

Also, Jokic is on a mission today.

Because his outside shot is so inconsistent, it’s hard to view him as a SG.

But any coach would maximize his abilities to get into the lane and to the rim because he’s bigger and stronger than most of these smaller combo 2 guards (like on the Cavs).

Ideally you want RJ at the 2 but with a PG who is a threat to shoot from 3 so that teams can’t clog the lane on RJ. Which is exactly why most Knicks fans are infuriated that he has to play alongside Elfrid Payton.

There are much worse ways to lose an 11-game winning streak. If it takes Jokic putting up 50 and the Nuggets shooting 70% to snap our streak I'm happy lol

I’d lean towards putting money on the Clippers right now.

Not even on some reverse psychology **** but because we still get inconsistent production from the bench and the whole defense thing as well, although we’ve looked improved in that area as of late.

Just hope they can take care of the Wizards tonight.

Sure it's still early, but if everyone plays is the winner of this game going to be considered the Title favorite now by a large percentage of people, I think so.

Should be the Lakers until they either lose in the playoffs or don't make the playoffs at all, which won't happen

Historically Gobert has defended Jokic pretty well. Gameplan today seemed to be to have Gobert play more helpside instead of directly on Jokic, we started the game with Bojan guarding him which obviously didn't work. But even then, Favors spent the most time on Jokic, we just about staggered Rudy's minutes opposite of Jokic's

Don't know if Snyder was just trying to throw different looks at him or what, but at least it'll give us some film for the next match up. You'd think that Gobert will match his minutes and guard him next time they play

Lol I promise you this won’t happen to us if we win.

What’s more likely is “Well, they have 3 elite players on their team, they should win” or “Who cares, they have to prove this in June, not February”.
