Look at his stats, why do I have to always school these guys? Ok listen very closely:
#1 in pts per game
#3 in spg
#4 free throw attempts
#4 total stls
#6 in asst per game
#4 fg's made

any questions? He is doing this with less talent around him than any other MVP candidate, including Lebron, one of my favorite players. Dirk is my absolute favorite player for obvious reasons, but AI is balling, he is the MVP IMHO

I don't think many people are giving AI strong consideration for MVP this year because of the Sixers record. I would definetly put him in the top 5 for MVP voting. It's crazy because KG's team is terrible this year yet he's getting all the hype but AI has done just as much if not more with lesser talent. The guy is obviously going to win the scoring title which is awesome considering this is a sport where the little man isn't supposed to dominate. I think AI has really started to mature this season right before our eyes yet we turn and look the other way because of his past history. Give the guy his credit he's a warrior on the court.

I am not sure if this was directed at me, if not I apologize.

I dont watch many 76ers games, but one is off the court and the other is on the court. I can respect the mans game without respecting him as a person.

And dont even get me started with a players past effecting his future. I am a Pacers fan, I have to deal with Ron Artest and his past................

Very well put and I couldn't agree more, the guys got a warriors mentality and plays with not only heart but great intensity for a guy so small by NBA standards he got that something extra that just can't be measured on any scale,this guy has really impressed me as far as his love and passion for the game and it shows in him night in and night out he's arrived and has matured leading his team dispite what their record might indicate.
