I don't hate it compared to the drive and flail or contact initiating on jump shots/drives
Hate it. Nba rulebook needs a cleansing. It's not basketball. It's just acting.

I think somebody mentioned it last game, but I’m not sure playing Brown some more minutes wouldn’t be better for the Nets. But Harden is such a big decoy even when he’s doing nothing. And he’s flopped himself to the line numerous times.

KD and Giannis have been great.

I think it's wack. It's an obvious play-on to me. Offensive players are purposely initiating that contact with zero intent of making any sort of legitimate basketball play.

It honestly seems so easy to counter-act these plays by refusing to whistle the most obvious and introducing a semblance of risk into the offensive player's minds. Make them wonder whether the intentional rip-through is actually going to work or whether it's going to be a stupid turnover. Make them wonder whether barreling into a defender and chucking a random shot will actually stop play or whether it'll just be a ridiculous-looking airball.

Instead, everyone's always rewarded. Other leagues and levels don't work like this.

Yep, especially that last one, and the drive where he dumped to Giannis on the dunk I thought he was fouled on the baseline then too.

True, he has the injury as an explanation, otherwise this has all the signs of a Close-Out Game Harden Special written all over.

I'm still bitter about Pistons fans who are bitter about Griffin not playing 110 percent for a team in total tank mode.

Dude was never going to be a part of Detroit's future and had zero trade value. I'd be pulling for him this postseason if he weren't playing for a team with players I really can't stand.

Didn't think it was gonna be a close one based on the first half.

                        Hold on pack.

KD about to play 48, Harden (with his beer gut) about to play 47. Giannis, one of the stars with the most managed minutes (thanks to Bud) in the regular season, fit as anyone, and seems about to pass out.

                                I agree with that.

I don't like the foul hunting approach a lot of these stars take. As a Sixers fan, it's frustrating when the offense stalls because Joel is trying to hard to draw fouls. He said multiple times this year that "I'll either score or get fouled or both". So a lot of these guys aren't trying to execute.

Defense is already at a disadvantage, so these non-basketball antics got to cease to exist. Nothing is worse than see defenders get fouls when the offense initiates contact. I want to see execution. Nothing is better than seeing good ball movement and off ball movement that leads to high percentage looks
