Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
For me, all-time, after Magic, I want him as my point guard. There are other players who would go ahead of him on the all time list in terms of being a "better" player, but for my team he's #2.Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Phoenix carried their play from last year’s bubble into the season and now they’re 4 wins away from their first Finals appearance in 28 years.
Good **** right there.#RespectTheCultureComment

The man is 36 with his best basketball behind him… I don’t really think this changes anything, although I’m not sure you couldn’t make that argument already. Some of the NBA radio crew gets up in arms at the idea of people even acting like CP3 is close to Zeke.. never understood why.
I really don’t understand how people get so latched on to “make the finals”, “win a ring” = you’re better at basketball than you were before either of those.
Like don’t disappear come playoff time and show you’re a star in the playoffs and not just regular season. I don’t get why people need more validation than that. 95% of the time the best team is winning. And that could factor in injuries, ridiculous hot streaks, better depth from your 7th or 8th man, how short of long the series were before with fatigue, some lucky calls, timely coaching adjustments, just flat out good/bad matchups, etc..
So much goes into a playoff series outside of just the star player. Like CP3 making the finals or getting a ring this year does nothing at all to change the 15 seasons he’s already played. Even though I’m beyond used to it at this point I will never be able to wrap my head around that type of logic.
Rick Kamla makes me want to call into NBA radio every single day and tell him he’s an idiot because he’s so heavy in the “well of this guy gets his 2nd ring instead of just 1 he’s obviously better than so and so”.. like how the **** does that make you any better/worse at basketball lol.

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I'm rooting for my Hawks but CP3 is my realistic emotional title favorite now given how wild the playoffs have been so far. I came in expecting the Nets/Lakers finals with Brooklyn taking it home. I now expect to see a Suns/Bucks in the finals.

Well yeah, but I meant as far as their chances at not getting swept. Any hope they had of at least making it a series that goes 5 went out the window the second Joker went out

I had mentioned yesterday that the Suns and Clippers are the only healthy teams in the playoffs but I had totally forgotten about Ibaka being out for the Clippers. So it's literally just the Suns at full health...**** is crazy.Comment
