Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I love Quin Snyder but he's getting severely outcoached. The worst thing is I really don't know if it's his fault. The Jazz desperately needed another defensive wing, and another actual point guard. Mike Conley and Trent Forrest are the only point guards on the roster. Joe Ingles is not a point guard. Donovan is not a point guard.
Defensively we can't just assume that Gobert and O'Neale by themselves are going to be enough in the playoffs every year, we need another stopper. When Bojan was killing it defensively in Games 1 and 2, we had it, but he's been below-average since. Ingles is not a good defender anymore. Mitchell has been an average defender at best in his career, and right now he's arguably our worst defender, but it's hard to blame him because he's on one foot. Clarkson tries hard defensively and is actually pretty capable on that end but you can't expect to play him much minutes with Donovan and Conley both on otherwise the bigger wings will kill him on that end
That's when it falls on Snyder, he has to try and at least do something on that end to disrupt the flow of their offense. Ty Lue literally set him a perfect example starting in Game 3 and he's been doing it still since, constantly switching up schemes and throwing different looks defensively. I know his hands are kinda bound with the injuries but everybody's injured right now, just gotta find ways to adaptTwitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Clippers got some key contributions from Jackson. But Morris went into his bag last night with 24 points.

I mean it’s a little unfair to give him the “did what he had to” treatment. Giannis didn’t do what he had to. Joel and Ben didn’t do what they had to. LeBron didn’t do what he had to. Just cause it had to be done doesn’t mean it’s going to get done. It shouldn’t be a slight to the dude that he rose to the the challenge.

The Suns went out and traded for Torrey Craig for cash. The Jazz got Matt Thomas for a 2nd rounder...

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
While I wasn't trying to hear it after he played a decent Game 6 last year, (then proceed to wet the bed Game 7), I have to give PG his props this year.
He's shown up and shown up big multiple times this postseason, on and off the box score. Last night was huge.
Hopefully he can keep it up.
Maybe he pulls a Lowry and sheds that that playoff-choker stigma after this.

Mitchell questionable now too. Dude has looked like he's at 50% speed at best out there, just sit him man. Don't want to **** around and do serious damage

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
Man, I’m sorry, Jazz Man. I thought they had it yesterday with Kawhi out. Seems like every team I want to win ends up not just losing, but losing games in spectacular fashion. I’m getting to the point of throwing the towel in on this post season due to all the injuries to star players.PSN ID - A_Dubya13Comment
