I'm not invalidating a regular season award, it's just another example of how regular season awards are meaningless and they're especially meaningless when a guy that's unplayable in many modern NBA moments keeps winning the award. If you can't deliver when it matters most then you're a fraud, whether you got your regular season trophy or not.

If he missed the last 2 games. He's clearly in too much discomforts to play. I'm guessing it partially torn. Which mean he's out right now for at least the month. He's most likely getting a second opinion on his knee as we speak.

So did I miss something? What happened to Clarkson the rest of the way? He was cooking in the first half, came back down to earth and that was the end of it. Granted defense was more the problem here, but there wasn't too much of anything the Jazz could have done defensively here. Clips just caught fire and they weren't missing anything.

Clarkson did what Clarkson does and he got cold after being insanely hot. Still think he should've played more in the 2nd half though especially when it was clear that Gobert wasn't giving us anything on either end of the floor

That's 4 years that small ball has killed us on the perimeter. 5 if you count the Nuggets but it wasn't really small ball, just unreal shooting

Gut the team, build properly around Mitchell. Bring Conley back at a fair price if he's down. Keep Clarkson and Bojan. Everyone else can go

All things considered this was a really fun season of basketball. If Conley and Mitchell were healthy this could have gone different, but like I've said time and time again, every team is battling injuries this time of year, especially this year

This is all on the coaching and FO. Can't put this on the players, especially Donovan because he gutted it out this series and still balled out. He's the silver lining man, kid is special

Give some props to Ty Lue.

You got to give Lue props too.

Not to not give him props, but I don’t think he did a whole lot worth noting. Like he didn’t do a bad job or anything like that, but Reggie and Mann just going insane and killing their isos wasn’t really any sort of adjustment from him.. he played smaller lineups but that’s what literally everyone does to the Jazz come playoff time.

Edit: I was actually somewhat surprised they all of a sudden started kicking their *** with minimal adjustments. Even mentioned that after last game. Utah for whatever reason wanted to play the 3 point chucking game.
