Ellipsis always leave out context. But I did check her full comments before posting and I wouldn't say this was "a lot" of context.

Might want to watch her comments again. Those two sentences were answers to two different questions. Using the ellipsis put them out there as a continuation of her talking about the same situation.

On the first sentence, she's right that she just made a basketball play in going for the ball (vs the assassination attempt it's being portrayed as by some on Twitter ) . She's wrong to brush off it being upgraded to a flagrant because that was the right call.

The second sentence about the "special whistle", she's talking about officiating in general.

It's like we have to turn everything into a societal/political/racial divide, and get in our emotions fighting for one side or the other. Truly dumb af. And combine that with the weirdest level of gatekeeping of the WNBA. Ironic that that's even a thing, but social media will do that I guess.

Worst part about it is that most people not even being honest about the actual hoops being played. "I don't like her or her or the attention they getting so their abilities and stats don't matter." Like the media and online trolls out there hoopin' for people or something lol. Maybe media and trolls are tampering with the box score and the records too. Maybe it's all make believe like Star Wars.

6 of the Top 7 draft picks are straight ballers and it ain't even funny. Basketball. Hoops. Round Ball. And when you look at the kids coming from college in the next 3-4 years like JuJu and Hildago it gonna be even more hoopin'.

I feel like this is some brilliant marketing ploy to bring in viewership. They got the hero and the villian they ffinally needed and now they are just selling the pettiness. And people are here for it. I've seen more people talking about this then the actual Finals.

A bunch of grown *** man can’t watch hoops without gossip/pettiness and that’s became normal out here.

As far as what makes Angel naturally unlikeable, it’s a bit like when we say a guy has a punchable face. Its the opposite of having natural charisma, she just has an likeable face (facial expressions maybe?). I feel like you are fishing for something though

If anything the opposite of fake. She doesn't have a poker face whatsoever. Remember when LeBron was frustrated with the media and gave them blank stare and said "be better?" Well Angel's the opposite, her expressions are very animated with eye rolls, grimaces, etc. It gives me valley girl vibes.

People speak in code and I thought you were checking to see if I used "its not race but <insert code for race>."

Edit: I will definitely own the being here for controversy though. I don't really like Caitlyn because I think she's the fake one out here trying to be sponsor-friendly and too nice. She don't have to come out with some Meet the Reece's type stuff, but hell at least throw some subliminals. I want to be sports entertained and I like it when athletes don't like each other. Not the olympic team kind of controversy though, not on board with that.

I just saw a video of Angel Reese basically getting clotheslined on a play. And that girl was trying to beat her up it looked like.

That **** was way worse then I've seen Caitlin go through. And the media conveniently glossed over it. These girls are rough man. That happened in the NBA. All hell would break loose lol

Cameron Brink tore her ACL, she is out indefinitely. I knew she tore something by the way she was hollering when she was on the ground. Feel bad for because she was leading for most blocks and scored the highest this season far as rookies with 30 points. Also she was playing consistent throughout her rookie season too but the media for the most part didn't much coverage to how well she was playing or how well the other rookies this season are playing.

Dude that sucks. Always sad when anybody gets hurt like that, but especially a rookie just getting their career started. Thankfully ACL's aren't the career killers they used to be thanks to modern medicine. Hopefully she's able to comes back and not miss a beat

Very telling this is literally the only place I’ve seen this. Meanwhile I’ve seen every breath that’s been taken on someone else all over the internet including in places I don’t typically see sports content from.
