I think Ivey should be considered the same tier as the top 3 but he’s probably still 4th or maybe 3rd for me. I wouldn’t be surprised if some teams have him top 2 due to the philosophy of not taking bigs that high.

I like Ivey. Beta Ja Morant lol jk (same trainer). I think your talking about 2 different type of "bigs". Multi talented more in the KD area. You just can't pass on those types. Unless something negative comes out on their physicals. Top 3 locked. It's just who is going to go first.

Orlando has too many guards right now.
OKC has guards already in SGA and Giddey
He could go at 3 to the Rockets. They have Green, Christopher and "John Wall' [emoji23]

I think Jabari and Paolo are probably the types of “bigs” (I wouldn’t even really categorize Jabari as a big personally) that you’re fine drafting high even if you’re strict about it in general. Chet is dicey to me. I like him as a prospect but I don’t really think he’s the perfect switchable defender some are convinced he is and he doesn’t really project as an offensive centerpiece either (though I think he was capable of more than he got to show at Gonzaga).

Chet wing span alone makes him dangerous. No matter what the defending situation is. I've seen him do a good job of staying down on his feet and still block shots or effecting them.

Looking at it from Orlando current situation. Mo Bama has flashed some things. But he's obviously not that type of player. Or he's been injuried too much. He's still young. Reminds me of Noel Nel (he's on the Knicks).

I like Jabari.... But he's really raw outside of his shooting. But those things can be worked on.

If your 6-10 and up. You're a big lol. Can't pass on these 3.

I view Jabari as a combo forward personally. He certainly isn’t a C which is really what some people argue against at the top of the draft.

Orlando is IMO in a spot to draft anything; they have a lot of young guys but nobody that’s good enough to prevent me from drafting their position. I would go with Jabari or Paolo personally but any of the 4 is at least kinda defensible IMO.

I’m not sure I’m really big on any of the international guys this year unfortunately. Don’t even think I’m gonna manage to do one of my trademarked long posts on them lol.

Gabriele Procida is one that seems to be gaining some steam among people I talk to at least.

It's lying season, but FWIW, a couple rumors as we enter draft week:

                  - Pistons, Pacers, Knicks, Wizards, and others are all trying to move up to #4 for Jaden Ivey.

                  - Shaedon Sharpe reportedly struggled in his draft workouts and seems like a potential slider on draft night.

                  - KOC is reporting that teams believe the #1 pick is available, with Orlando potentially sliding down a pick or two and still getting Jabari Smith.

I have no idea why Detroit would want Ivey. The others, possibly but I don’t see anyone trading up for him.

I still don’t know why so many are so high on Sharpe. I don’t see it. Could be dead wrong though. He looks slow to me.

Jabari spoke highly of his workout with OKC. Just seemed to me that he wanted to go to OKC over Orlando.

This one feels funny. If Orlando wants Smith and is willing to trade the number 1 pick because they think they can still get Smith at a later pick then why would any of the other teams trade anything of value to move up and pick the guy they want knowing Smith is who Orlando is taking regardless and their guy will still be available?

Like if the current mock is ORL: Jabari, OKC: Chet, HOU: Paolo why would OKC/HOU trade anything of value to move up to number 1 knowing all 3 teams would still pick the same 3 guys?

I'm lost lol. Maybe if Sac want to steal a guy and Orlando believes they can get Smith at 4 it would make sense for Sac to jump up and steal Chet/Paolo or something.. Otherwise it makes no sense to me.

Theoretically if Houston thinks OKC will take their guy, it makes sense for them. And more of a stretch, if OKC thinks Houston will jump them and take their guy, it would make sense for them.

Nah these trades don’t get made official until after the fact anyways so stuff like that doesn’t really happen

There's a few wings I would want Sixers to target at #23. But knowing Doc's reluctance to play young guys, I'm all for trading that pick for a prove veteran. I think the goal last year was to trade the pick last year, but couldn't so they took the super young upside player in Jaden Springer. He was 19 all season and doesn't turn 20 until a few weeks before next season. Unless they move Milton, I don't see Springer cracking the rotation next year either. So, I'm for trading him as well.

Thinking about it, I think I saw that there is only 1 known prospect that they worked out. I'm sure they did more. But, I think they're dead set on trading that pick. It's not only the Doc thing, but for financial reasons as well. They're close to the Tax Apron. So I can see them moving Danny's contract, #23, and Mattise for a win-now vet
