I mean I’m not on the team but last season it definitely looked like he was frustrated and tired of playing on a ****ty team and didn’t give a **** lol.. in my outside opinion.

Mental health stuff has been a factor for awhile now and he was far more engaged with the good Bron teams than what he showed last year.

Right but that doesn’t mean they weren’t around then.

But whatever, it’s not a big deal.

This is the most complete Memphis team I’ve ever seen. Obviously not as “good” as peak grit-n-grind teams but far less holes top to bottom. They don’t have enough horses to run through the playoffs, but there is no glaring weakness. They can shoot, pass, defend, rebound, play big, play small, there isn’t one area of basketball that they are just lacking.

They have to hit on a couple of their first rounders in this this upcoming draft too to create a opportunity to vault into the the top 3 in the West IMO.

When you aren't a team that will get top tier FAs to come then this what you have to do, build a team with solid play in all aspects of the game. They have to hit on a couple of their first rounders in this this upcoming draft too to create a opportunity to vault into the the top 3 in the West IMO.

They've done very well with the role players as well. Kyle Anderson, Steven Adams, De'Anthony Melton, Tyus Jones, all of those guys have been incredible this year. Both Jones and Melton have had some huge shoes to fill by stepping in for Ja and Brooks and the team hardly missed a beat. Brooks and Ja have only played like 5-6 games together this year.

To me, regardless of how the draft goes, their ceiling ultimately comes down to how Jaren Jackson Jr. can develop. If he can become an All-Star caliber guy things should get interesting for them. Some nights he looks a bit awkward with iffy shot selection and a bit too slow on defense, other nights he looks like he's headed towards the same projection as Evan Mobley and looks like a two-way force defending 3-5.. As it stands currently all four of Ja, Bane, Brooks, JJJ are 20 a night level guys. All currently average over 20 per 36 and any time any of them play big minutes like that they can get you 20+ fairly efficiently.

Both Tillman and Clarke are really solid for what they are, which is 8th-10th men on the pecking order, they both play at starter level contributions when they have to play bigger minutes. A huge boost for them would be if Ziaire Williams makes the same progression that Brooks and Bane have.. If that pick ends up being a winner as well they'll be in good shape.

During this "rebuild" if you could call it that they've made some questionable moves and trades, lost coaches that have done amazing jobs Joerger, Fizdale, Bickerstaff they all did well.. But I think Taylor Jenkins might be the best yet and the best fit for this group. Which is a huge bonus on top of how well they have drafted. The young dudes play hard for him, everything is clicking.

turns out the Jays are pretty good. Having Jaylen back creates some space for Tatum and he also doesn't feel like he has to score 50 either. Jaylen also hides their lack of shooting because he's so good and Moves Schroeder who is good but is kinda a ball stopper down the rotation which improves the team overall. I still want a shooter because you are ruining Tatum's playmaking. you can forget those Jaylen trade proposals.

Regardless this was just the 1 game in the whole damn season that Gordon and Augustine will combine for nearly 60 lol. That might have played a role.

That's why I said rumor lol. I saw 3 post about Rockets record without him.

Heard the same thing about Sexton for Cleveland. He was holding the team back. Don't know if that's true.

I wouldn't say this year. I thought they were doing great with him. But I also think the law of averages played in favor of Garland because now he's putting up numbers.

Looks like a Covid spread is taking place for the Nets as Aldridge, Milsap, Bembry, Carter and Jackson are out due to Health and Safety protocols.

I feel like this next month is about to be brutal for a lot of teams.
