Also if the Lakers lost this game. I'm going to need some major rating changes to this team in 2K.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

That probably should happen, but with the kind of personnel decisions that the team has made this season, they will probably cut him instead when the Covid players are eligible to return.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: 12/14 - 12/27 Games Discussion Thread
The benefit I see to now is all of the Indiana guys, Grant, Ben, Houston vets, some of those Kings players, likely some Pelicans guys, there is just a lot of available players to get now and lots of teams willing to make moves and piece something together. No guarantee the Lakers can land anything of value, but there is too much in the market as of now to not be heavily involved in that.
The thing with Westbrook is he has a player option. So even though he does have another year on his contract he’s probably not a lock to accept that knowing he can still sign another solid 3-4 year deal for longer term money unlike a guy like Wall who isn’t able to showcase he still has value. Also he’s more likely to take a buyout for those same reasons as well.
An expiring contract halfway through this year and an expiring contract this off-season likely isn’t much of a difference for the team receiving him. If the expiring contract is the draw for them it’s still an expiring contract at the end of next season regardless.
They stuck with him for the year, man. Lakers’ saving grace right now is they still have 4 months to try and turn things around and during that time, hope that there’s enough internal improvements and they’re not shuffling guys in/out of lineups like they have already.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 12/14 - 12/27 Games Discussion Thread
Bron is now basically tied with Steph for 2nd in the league in ppg. Averaging nearly 28/7/7. Highest ppg since 2010, most blocks since 2010 most steals since 2013.. Last 15 games 30/8/7 with 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks.
It gets overstated a ton, but that is just nuts for a 37 year old. Fun/cool to see, but also an issue that the Lakers are needing all that from him just to fight for .500 ball. Dudes spent most of his minutes as a center and point guard over the past couple weeks lol. Plays everything from primary ball handler, post up player, pick and roll player, iso scorer, off-ball cutter, and still switching basically 1-5 on defense though he's no longer a DPOTY level guy.. At year 19 37 years old he's still one of the most versatile players we've ever seen.Comment

And here I thought y’all have exhausted all the ways to tell us that Lebron is still good even in his old age. [emoji18]#RespectTheCultureComment

Crazy to see him still being able to do so much. Lakers haven’t needed that from him the last couple of years.Comment

And he is also playing his highest minutes in 5 years at 37.1, not at recipe for success.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Yup, what I meant by “but also an issue that the Lakers are needing all that from him just to fight for .500 ball”.
That said I doubt he or his body feels a big difference between playing 34-35 minutes than it does playing 37 minutes. He’s had 12 games off so that could help some as well.Comment
