What......? Worst of all the team has been winning on his buckets. He's not just throwing up empty stats every night in losses. He's been doing it for 2-3 months now.

This how you know it's really bad. His stamina rating is 79. Like I just said in the 2k rating thread. That's a death sentence for a guard. 2 possession and your lead guard is exhausted. It will take him probably the rest of the quarter to recover. That's BS!

I'm far from a "stat guy". But I've watched so many of his games. It's super clear. This dude was pulling Curry Slides in the last game vs Memphis. (Second play in the below clip)

At this point he's MIP until further notice lol

His stamina definitely needs to go up, he's been consistently getting 33+ mpg for two months now.
But the overall is fine, he's right at league average in PER.
He had 4 straight games of at least 29 points. Before that he hovers around 22 on 45% fg with ~6 apg and almost 3 topg over the past 2 months.

Those are solid numbers. 80 is a solid overall.
Gotta throw shade at you jeebs but this is why rating inflation is a thing. We are quick to argue when a guy needs a bump but considerably less likely to argue in favor of decreasing guys.

I can take shade aka constructive argument lol. I’ve been complaining about the Lakers and Warriors for a minute. They haven’t played well. I’m talking about Curry, Westbrook and others. Especially the Lakers. They been in tier 1 the entire season. Even when they final took AD off the roster. They still,we’re number 1. When the Nets lost KD. They dropped to 3rd tier. How is that possible?


As far as Simons, I play with these dudes before I make noise about it. Go play with Simons and report back. Your see he need’s boost across the board on his rating. His handle isn’t even close…. And he has badges like he’s a dunking contest contestant lol.

Here are his current ratings. Even without playing with him. That’s tough. I’m not saying he needs 90. He should feel different. But he doesn’t.

I just hope when Harden starts playing that Doc learns how to stagger minutes. These all Bench lineups has to stop. We started that Fourth quarter against Bucks with the lineup being Furkan-Shake-Green-Niang-Millsap with Giannis on the court. Those point Furkan minutes need to stop, i think that's part of the reason he has struggled this year.

Agree I've been starting Thybille and bringing Maxey off bench. But Maxey will get most of the minutes. Obviously I would never do that in real life lol. Maxey has made so many strides, that could be tough for him again.

Now that your have 2 legit point guards. Furkan will probably never have to do that outside of spot up duty. They are going to have to feature out how to play with each other. Should be fun to watch.

Not necessarily an increase but I'd agree with giving him a readjustment. Last I heard they used the Intangibles rating as an overall modifier and other than that it had no real impact. So with intangibles at 95, his "true" overall is more like a 75.

And they clowning him with that strength rating. Ouch.

And he needs some shooting badges for sure. His 3 pt rating is higher than Beal's but with Beal's badges he will out shoot him all day.
Bring down that intangible rating by like 20 and give him some badges (they impact overall so the two would cancel each other out) and he'll perform more in line with his real life counterpart.

Yes, his strides make him the starter. But, it's not like we have a choice lol. Matisse has supplanted Green. So only other options would be Furkan, Shake, or Green. Maxey's role will be reduced when James is on the court. Just has to hit those spot ups with consistency.

I wouldn't mind Favors as a buyout option. That and possibly waiving Millsap if there is a decent buyout wing option
