Hey BeanTown, what do you think about Ray Allen? Do these rumors end now and would you rather have him over Pierce? I'm still kind of undecided but I think he plays a better uptempo game and is more of a passer, not to mention the kid can shoot off the catch better than anyone. So many big trades today...wow!

If we could get Robert Swift and a draft pick I'd do it, cuz we'd have like 30 mil in cap space over the summer, and we'd have a young core as good as any in the league.

      The dynasty will return

Time to watch the C's again!!
          Ditto.

He basically got LaFrentz and a pick for nothing.

That's exactly right, although I'm sure they'd love to dump his salary even though he's played well for them this year.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say ATL waives Payton. They have no need for him. He is a FA at the end of the year, so if they would let him go there is no big financial commitment. Plus, it would allow him to sign with the team of his choosing for the stretch run.

Thats exactly what is going to happen. Then speculation is he will sign with Denver, Seattle, or Minnesota.

Wouldnt that be CRAZY if he resigned with Boston though? It could happen.
