One of the TO newspapers yesterday said there was a chance of a Marshall for Scot Pollard trade. If he pulled the trigger on that trade, I would have expected Bosh to be flipped for a 2nd rounder in the off-season.

The guy has taken major heat for the Carter trade.

At least get a 2nd rounder for Marshall. The man's not coming back next season and he's arguably the most sought-after player on the market, and you don't trade him? Babcock is a ****ing idiot for thinking the Raptors can make a run with Marshall this season. Hey Rob, your division rival who's been beating up on you all season just acquired CHRIS FREAKING WEBBER. Babcock should be fired, the man is clueless. How can you not be shopping Marshall at the very least.

Well after drafting Hoffa, gettin ripped off for Vince, and now failing to garner anything for a hot commodity in Luda, that makes it 0/3 for Babcock.

It's not really the not trading I'm disappointed in, it's the lack of direction this team has. We obviously didn't trade because Babcock still feels we can compete for a playoff spot. However, he has stated time and time again that we are in a long term rebuilding phase.

Tough, frustrating times to be a Raptors fan right now... I can only pray the powers at be in N.Y.C give us the 'lottery treatment'. Marvin Williams, Chris Paul, Andrew Bogut, either of those 3 would look great in a Raps uni next season. Knowing Babcock he'll prolly pick Hakeem Warrick.

Babcock is someone who lacks confidence and then panics. He should of traded Carter in the summer when his value was higher but didn't. So instead of waiting until the trade deadline where VC's value would have been just as high he dumps him to NJ for basically 2 mid 1st rounders. Then the pressure is on him because of the bad Carter trade he panics and becomes gun shy and keeps Marshall for no apparent reason because he's afraid to get criticized for not getting enough not realizing that getting anything for Marshall is a bonus since he doesn't give us any cap relief when his contract's up.

His brother Pete destroyed the Hawks and Rob will be doing the same for the Raps.
