Always weird to see fashion shift the way it does. I swear I was liable to be mocked if I tried rocking shorts even just a couple inches shorter than Melo and LBJ in those pics.
The day uniforms were passed out was a bloodbath because everyone would bicker, argue, and pay for the right to not be stuck with the short shorts. Now dudes are literally rolling up their issued shorts to make them shorter like my JV girls team used to back in my coaching days.
Kind of annoying how it's all so fickle and arbitrary and how people can speak so certainly and lovingly about one fashion trend (long shorts) then turn around and vilify it like it's never been a good look just a couple years later. With each passing year, I better understand why dads just buy themselves a batch of Air Monarchs and call it a day.
I still don't think that first pic is a bad look. I'm pretty sure I'd even prefer it from a visual and comfort point of view.
