Keeping an eye on the NY interest in Jason Kidd. Dallas could've quickly shut it down like how Houston shut down the Udoka talk.

NY got denied for Atlanta's Quinn Snyder as well. I guess their plan after firing their HC lead them to fhe Conference finals is to poach an another team's HC lol

          Knicks denied 5 times already!

Just for the laughs I want to see them go to every single team in the league and every single team rejects them.

Would the Bucks deny them about Doc Rivers🤔 lol. Feels like it’ll be Mike Brown

Sounds like Suns want a starting C back in a deal for KD.

I've seen people also linking Raptors to having interest. Giannis at least made sense slightly since he has 2 years left and there's a chance to keep him, but I don't see how getting KD is the smart move if you're giving up a lot in their position.

Suns came off winning 64 games and did worse once getting KD, Nets were a .500 team who finished with 48 wins when having him for half a season.

Don't see how a 30 win team adding him would make them a 50+ win team that can have a shot at an eastern finals or more.

It feels like the KD trade will happen before the draft. But, it seems like a Giannis decision on whether he wants to stay or not has to happen first. For a team like Spurs or Houston, I would want to know whether Giannis is on the table before trading for KD. I'm not comfortable giving up valuable picks or young players for KD.

The center free agent leaves a lot to be desired. Not including Myles Turner, it's Brook Lopez and Capela and a huge drop off. Not too much money for teams. So, it's likely that Lopez and Capela are going to have to take MLE at best. As far as Free Agency(UFA), it seems like there are decent guard options. If I need a forward, I'd probably lean towards Larry Nance JR since he does provide small ball 5 looks.

Bane should be a good fit in ORL. But, they will be a very expensive team with 4 guys over $30M soon. Feels like they will have to make a consolidation trade in a year or 2. For that cost, I would have probably considered someone like Trey Murphy who provides better size, similar shooting, more defense, and cheaper.

4 firsts for Bane seems like a real high price.

Obviously they need Ja to be competitive, but they had a decent core around him. It's just a matter of him being healthy.

But if they're moving on from Bane, I wonder who is next.

Magic on the other hand, having Banchero, Bane, Wagner, Suggs as their young core isn't a bad option. This move definitely puts them in the 50+ win discussion, especially in the division they're in.

But the Heat also being in the running for KD could make the southeast interesting for a change.

With the draft a week away, I do think we'll see a ramp up in trade talks once the Finals are over. Once teams are able to negotiate with their own players and have an idea of where they stand, I do think we'll see things ramp up. I've seen a lot of speculated trades including players that have player options. I do think we'll see a lot of the options and new deals figured out fairly quickly

KD to Rockets for Green, Brooks, 10th pick and 5 2nds.

Funny how the Rockets at some point wound up with KD, Westbrook and Harden.

Houston was able to keep their higher value young players and future firsts. So, it keeps them in the running for a future star trade

I can see Suns flipping Jalen Green since the Booker-Beal-Green fit isn't good. I could see a Green for Claxton+filler trade. It would give Phoenix a center they need and Brooklyn a young player with upside

Houston didn't have to break the bank, but not sure why Phoenix didn't insist on Jabari Smith Jr. being in the trade?

Especially when he was out of Udoka's rotation by playoff time and they could use a young, talented big man.

Houston adds an automatic bucket, veteran and still have Thompson, Sengun & Smith Jr. (if he can play alongside KD & improves on defense) to build around.

Phoenix has been a disaster since moving Paul and Ayton, so getting anything back for KD was huge. They still need to draft smartly, move Green (don't think him and Booker fit together) and somehow get rid of that albatross of a contract that Beal has.

The rumor I saw is Suns wanting to dump Beal.

But who'll take a guy making 110m over the next 2 years (unless Beal is stupid enough to turn down a 57m option).

The Nets are a team who has LOTS of room this offseason (most of their roster are FAs). If they're not planning on making a big move, maybe they take Beal along with picks?
