A lot of NBA fans still remember watching Vince's highlights during that Vinsanity run. But 15 years from now I think I'll struggle to remember any Lowry moments. But Vince's in-game highlights plus his dunk contest will always live on.

    I don’t disagree with your overall point, but being a franchise leader in pretty much anything, and being what I would consider the “leader” on a championship team (not the best player obviously) easily trumps a dunk contest lol.

    But yeah Vince is probably the guy for me too. I’d be interested in hearing a Raptors fan take on that though.

        It's gotta be Vince man. He's the first thing I think about when I think of the Raptors. Second thing is that Kawhi shot on Philly lol

        Lowry doesn't cross my mind. He's more of a stable presence for them. But Vince is the guy.

          Re: NBA Off Topic Thread

          Kawhi had the best single season of any Raptor ever.

          Vince was their most polarizing/mainstream/influential guy they ever had.

          Lowry was their most accomplished guy ever with the franchise marks he holds AND a championship too.

          If we're talking best guy overall, it's Vince. If we're talking best guy in terms of franchise accomplishments, its Lowry.

          Yes, VC put basketball on the map in Canada (NBA would still exist in Toronto without him, the league would be foolish to relocate, it's a way diff situation from Vancouver, but nowhere near the heights it is today), but the Lowry era completely changed the culture of the organization, culminating with a championship.

            Yeah Vince may have changed the trajectory but before him you're right that the trajectory probably would not have led to relocation. Its just far too large of a market.

              Kemba doesn’t feel right, but is probably the correct answer, lol

                Ya, even if they sucked, no way they were moving. You're not expanding internationally, having a team playing out of a brand new arena, and gaining lots more eyes on the product, just to move them because they're a bottom team.

                  It's close, but I'd personally go with...

                  Lowry->Mcgrady
                  Penny->Mcgrady
                  Keem->Mcgrady

                            I don’t give a damn what kind of team of 5 you assemble. You give me Jordan, LeBron, Shaq and KD on the same team I’m taking that team every single time. This one isn’t even a challenge to me

                                Somewhat related, but LeBron ruined the old version of a similar debate on who would win, a team of the 5 greatest Lakers, or the 5 greatest never to play for LA.
