Think it is more of excessive standing. We've seen coaches and players on the bench essentially being extra defenders. I imagined people with first and second row seats complain about it as well.

Not directly related, but I still go back to that Philly and Memphis game without Joel, where Maxey scored at the very end of OT to capitalize the victory. Seth Curry, who was on the bench, was literally under the basket before Maxey layed it in as time was expiring. That should have been a tech

I'm mean no one else is gonna be able to compete with GSW's level of spending (they just gave Jordan Poole a monster extension), but they should be able to compete with the Nets, Knicks, Clippers of the NBA in spending.

They should probably sell the team at this point if they'll always fall back on the "we can't spend like that" excuse.

Most fans want them to sell but I think because it's a "family business" is why they won't. The Buss family doesn't have any other income sources outside of the Lakers. Plus they own the Lakers, they probably don't want to give up the status that comes with that.

I agree with you about GS’ spending. I got flamed for it here when I agreed with the league for investigating them.

They have no concerns whatsoever paying the luxury tax.

Well I think they let Caruso go because he would've triggered a higher luxury tax. And I know he's not a superstar or anything but a team like GS or LAC wouldn't have let him go over money IMO. I could be wrong.

I expect more teams to adopt this. Already heard of MSG doing this for the Knicks.

Hate the price point. But many local viewers get blacked out in their own market.

Thats the kind of insight I love. It makes perfect sense after hearing it but it never occurred to me the effect winning a championship has on that second unit.
