Sega's Roster update (Missing Players Included)

I finally downloaded the updated rosters on my playstation 2 via the ONLINE DOWNLOAD function under the roster management screen.

A few dozen trades were done, But one shocking (shocking in a good way) thing that was done, was the fact they created Melvin Ely and put him on the clippers. His Photo was there and his real face and headband was included as well. (He was NOT included as a created player either)

I'm just happy that we finally see something from Sega and we know that it's possible for sega to make anybody and place them in the game.

I'll see if they announce his name in a bit.

Keep up the good work Sega and dont forget to make Emanuel Ginobili from SA.

Update: They announce his name for the player introductions.

Do you think that he could have been made already but not find in the final release of the game, or do you think they may have edited the game to add his name?

Of course Sega made all the real life players that will be in the league this year...and are just waiting to put those players in the game, via the "roster-updates". Guess Sega has to wait til the players sign with their respective teams.

I can't wait for X-Box live so I can download some updated rosters. Doesn't matter since I am dominating with the Magic, but I wanted to take a cellar dweller to glory eg. the Cavs, Nuggets, Warriors.....Only one more month left though.....

Any other missing players u noticed were missing they put on there.I know when i created Ronald Murray it said "name found in audio database" so maybe they do have people names already in the naming system.

The rosters aren't too great, I'm assuming they're waiting for the season to put the good ones on.

Menk Bateer is still on the Nuggets, and has been with two teams since.

Erick Strickland is still on the Celtics too.

No Ming or Sabonis, I say just wait till the season, and they will make us REALLY HAPPY.

This was just a preseason early roster update test. I think that they will have a more complete update when the season starts. I also heard that this saturday, they will post a complete roster-update, -&gt; non-test version. Hopefully, this will have the most complete up-to-date update. Meaning everyone who has signed up to this date.

I also just noticed, Jordan isno longer rated 104 on his legends team. He is now rated 99.

I also noticed that they switched Dajuan Wagner's Position from PG to Shooting guard in this last update.

He also improved from a 76 to a 78 overall rating.

The options are endless if Sega is willing to take the time and put out some fine roster files.
