    Sengun has been killing it.

Nasty down low. Great passer. Could be even better once he's knocking down 3's.

1st edition of Nets-Knicks in BK tonight and I can’t find myself getting up for it(pause).

Knicks will probably get the W tonight anyway.

I wasn't lying when I said before his draft that on Day 1 he'd have one of the most impressive bags of low post moves in the league. He's so much fun to watch.

It could be rough. Maybe fighting for a play-in? They have pieces, but those pieces look way better together on paper than irl. Guys who put up individual numbers but haven't exactly looked like winning players.

Yeah I'm not quite as down on them as that but have the same overall opinion. On paper they should be better but its a case where the sum is not greater than the parts.

The Gobert trade seemed like the kind of deal you make when you think you are missing that final piece to get you over the hump. Only I don't think that describes them. And I don't know if what's lacking is winning players or if its something that coaching could resolve. There's something missing, but its not talent.

They’re the Nets without the off court mess.

We don’t need to avoid saying it. Luckily for them, they play in Minnesota but if this team had played in any of those major markets, they’d be getting nitpicked to death by everyone, let’s keep it real.

Seems like a combination of "I overrated them on my mental power rankings" and "I have no patience, why can't they be a finished product 11 games into the season".

What are we seeing? D-Lo being garbage: known. Gobert & KAT (potentially) being an awkward fit: known. KAT being a disappointment: known Potential for young team coming out sluggish after getting their *** kissed all offseason because they won their play-in game, nearly beating the Grizzlies & being "next up": known.

I saw fans asking for Josh Green to get more minutes

Something other than the Lakers or Nets.

                    Thats still allowed right?

If that first paragraph is directed at me for raising the question, you're off base. I've always been down on the Wolves. KAT may be the 2nd most skilled big man in the league but he thinks he is a guard. My personal take is that he needs a coach that will force his big ******* to get on the block. And/or a point guard that won't indulge his fantasy. A PG that will say don't you stand 3 feet behind the 3 pt line asking for the ball, get down low and I'll feed you. I would love to see D'Angelo wave him off and motion for him to get into the paint, but D'Lo is one of those "man I'm just vibing" cats.

AFAIK no one thought the Wolves were up next. Except for the Wolves apparently.

Last year myself and one other (OJ maybe?) voiced an opinion that maybe the team could benefit from being more structured on offense. Maybe not necessarily bringing in a new HC but maybe an offensive assistant. The response was "nah they just a young team that needs more time" (maybe that was the position OJ took, not sure). Do they look more structured to you (with Ant just standing in place for full possessions my guess is no lol)? Like Pack said if they were a big market team they would be getting shredded, but I guess we can only talk about small market teams towards the end of the season.

KAT is one of those dudes I'm just sick of hearing about. He is so talented this, he is so skilled that. He is the next AD. Enough.

That said, unlike Giannis or AD who are culpable of killing me a bit inside every time they shoot a 3, KAT is actually legit from 3 so I don't agree about forcing to the block per se. Could he use more touches on the post? Sure, but that lane is now clogged with the human statue (Rudy) which was a foreseeable issue yet here we are.

But that isn't an issue you see, since you can play inside-outside: KAT from 3, Rudy down the post. Oh wait, Rudy has been in the league a million years and has always been shaky down low. Well, that was just Donovan Mitchell, have you seen Rudy aT Teh oLyMpIcS?

                      Anyways, work in progress.

I feel like a few things can be true for them:

                          1. They’re still a young team.
                          2. They’re not looking very good right now, relative to expectations.
                          3. There’s still plenty of time.

I think because they overachieved last year and how they looked against Memphis early on(and everyone hopping on the Anthony Edwards bandwagon before jumping back off in the offseason), people expected a better showing from them out of the gate.

I do feel like D’Lo gets a LOT of unwarranted criticism but that’s something that followed him since he left LA.

And if I gotta hear/see (insert player)is not a winning player one more time, I’m going to lose it. Folks done ran that **** into the ground to the point where damn near 75% of the league aren’t winning players, let fans tell it [emoji23]

There are exceptions but usually when I hear that I just jump to "what you're really saying is that he needs better coaching"

With D'Lo you're probably right. Its the oldhead in me that still thinks its the point guard's job to run the team. Thats outdated but I still cling to it

KAT's ability to hit from range is a weapon and should absolutely be used. But the balance can be better. I don't have any data to back this up but it seems like that team ball watches more than most. I think getting him more touches in the post could create more opportunities for his teammates and get them more engaged in the game.

The Rudy trade...don't really know what to say about it. It wasn't a great move for a variety of reasons. That Jurassic Park quote comes to mind. The front office spent so much time wondering if they could make the deal they never stopped to ask if they should.

On to another team, I don't think they'll keep it up and maintain their position in the standings but gotta like what we're seeing from Haliburton and the Pacers.
