Shai just walks into that pull up from mid so casually and nails it every time. If the Thunder get this rebuild right I hope they reward that man because he’s too good for a bad team with no direction

When I first read your comment. I was like [emoji102].

Looks like Paolo got a few rating boost in 2k. (Bol Bol got a few too). But what can I say about Paolo. After probably what was his worst half of basket in the first 2 quarters. Like a veteran, he came out ultra aggressive in the 3rd. It's the entire reason the Magic got back in the game. Draymond basically gave him all the space he wanted in the first half. But I'm that third he attacked that space like nuts. He just needs to work on his spot up 3's which will come with time.

Then once things got going Jalen Suggs really took over in the 4th... His defense was amazing.

My wonder is for the future. The Magic are really guard heavy. Someone eventually has to get the keys right?

My guess would be that they'll wait and see if someone sort of takes the reigns and proves themselves as a keeper and if everyone remains kinda blah, they'll make a move to bring in a legitimately good guard to pair with Wagner and Paolo. The only four guards that really matter right now IMO are Suggs, Hampton, Anthony, and Fultz. I'm fairly confident Anthony is not the answer long-term. I want to believe in Fultz; he looked really good before the injury last year but my confidence in him being the answer long-term is pretty low. Still in wait-and-see mode with Suggs and Hampton. They've both shown flashes but have mostly struggled thus far in their careers.

If Suggs continues to play with the defensive intensity he showed last night, I think he'll stick around even if he ultimately turns into more of a Marcus Smart type guard rather than someone you want handling the ball/making the decisions all the time.

This stuff is just so terrible for the league. Does anybody even care about Kawhi anymore? I don't. He doesn't really care about basketball. Why should I follow him? I mean I wish the best for him personally but I'm not going out of my way to get excited to see him play anymore.

Adam Silver and these owners need to really set some parameters. As much as I hate to say it. Load management needs to gtfo.

This is my take on it. I have vacation days at my job, I don’t need somebody outside of workplace to tell me when/how to use them.

Steph, Klay, Dray has made that team enough money to take a game when they feel like it. Steve has won enough as a coach for them to give in to when he says his players need a break.

This really only effects those who buy tickets, the kid who got a ticket for his one chance to see Steph. Hate it for that individual but otherwise this is always made out to be a way bigger issue than it is. Especially for anybody not named Kawhi, as none of those other guys are doing this even remotely consistently.

Sucks for anyone who bought tickets for that. That's the biggest downside to me.

I was looking at the Wizards schedule for games to go to this year and circled the Mavs game, saw it was the second night of a back to back for Dallas, and am now assuming I’ll get to see Luka in street clothes (but at least I’ll get to see the cherry blossom jerseys in person I guess lol).

Knowing how prices double or triple when teams like Golden State and LA come to town, I’d be so upset if I found out I wasn’t getting to see those dudes play. Thankfully in my case, the tickets for the Mavs game were still cheap.
