I'm still surprised 2 teams traded him so quickly. Vanderbilt was developing with Wolves. I watched him a few times when they faced the Nets. He did s good job slow down KD in the first half (obviously KD took over in the second half).

A player of his archetype is a lot less useful on a "rebuilding" or retooling team, than an ascending team.

I wouldn't be shocked if they attempt to acquire someone similar to him down the line.
