Jimmie thinks his defensive scheme is genious and compensates for players lack of individual defensive ability. Its absolute trash in reality and it concedes the boards to the other team, while at the same time leaving wide open men EVERY time to good passing teams. It worked for the Celtics in 2002 because on our path to the ECF, we played teams like Detriot and Philly, where if we stopped Stackhouse and Iverson, we stopped their team, and thats what the defense was designed to do. But Obie is stubborn and wont change it, which is partly why he saw his exit in Boston. Good luck with that in Philly, I doubt he'll change it, and therefore I doubt the Webber acquisition will be a good thing (as Webber can't move and you have to be a mobile big man to play in the system). If Obie's gone next year Philly will be better for it.
