Ant Man is a total fraud (in terms of the hype; he still a solid 3rd option) I could have told yall that. No new news there.

But I'm looking at Slo Mo: So you call Gobert out of his name, basically provoking him into a situation where the "not so bright" front office guy suspends him for a game, then you proceed to stink it up in the 4th quarter and OT with missed shots and phantom turnovers. OK. The front office has some decisions to make this offseason lol.

Schroder was excellent tonight. Not just offensively. But his effort defensively both on and off ball

That play in overtime on defense when the ball was kicked out to Ant who, at the time, was wide open in the corner, to only have Schroder SPRINT to the corner so hard that Ant ended up traveling instead of taking the shot was the perfect encapsulation of his effort on defense tonight

So glad he was able to make it back from that injury scare

The box score nerds will look at it and think "13 assists?! Hell of a game!" but watching the game I thought he was a net liability

He did have to guard Anthony Davis for large portions of that game given Towns foul trouble. Their only other option was Nathan Knight.

He had 13 assists, 4 steals and 4 blocks so I wouldn’t say he played bad. I do think having to play him 44 minutes showed all of his pluses and minuses.

Edwards shooting terribly ( injured or not) is what I thought really killed their offense. Towns committing 2 offensive fouls and a poor rebounding foul really killed them with their lack of depth. They could’ve survived that on offense if Naz Reid wasn’t hurt.

Yeah I'm guilty as charged lol I can't front (all in good fun). But Edwards was the #1 overall pick so yeah I'm holding him to a higher standard especially with the nickname he gave himself. You can't take the Lord's name in vain giving yourself a nickname and ball out of control, much less do that and shrink into the background like Homer Simpson into a shrub of bushes.

But yeah, as the #1 pick who is obviously very naturally gifted and has both play-in and playoff experience under his belt BEFORE tonight, he proved himself as fraudulent. At different times in this game you had Towns ball, Conley ball, Prince ball, multiple "who is that" people off the bench that balled and this dude just...couldn't...quite...show up...at all.

I don't do the whole "baby boo-boo poor baby please get his wipes, binky and bottle" thing with sports. Not that you do, I'm just saying I don't. That's why sometimes my takes seem harsh but I'm just talking about the sport and the skill exhibited (or not exhibited lol). Edwards is who he is until he isn't. He has the potential to be more. We'll see.
