I thought they changed that. Idk lol

Anyways, seems silly to have that be a rule to begin with. Has anyone ever been able to gain an advantage by rolling on the ground repeatedly? [emoji23]

LA really almost gagged that. they need to put the ball in Steph's hands more as a ballhandler from the start. AD was phenomenal. They had no legs in that 4th though. after the 7 gamer i feel like this was in the cards for LA to get and they did.

AD and Brons defense were fantastic at the rim. And ADs length on the perimeter seemed to contribute to some misses from deep as well.

I honestly think this series will go to six or seven games. However, I also still think that whoever wins here will lose to the winner of the Phoenix-Denver showdown.

Who knows but I would like to see a Jokic, AD matchup.

You guys are getting ahead of yourself. It was only game one [emoji23].

As OJpizza and I repeated last night. The Lakers were going underneath A LOT. How did the Warriors not punish them? They did. But it only started getting weird when the Free Throw attempts became a problem.

Last night was a great example of not needing a bunch of 3 pointers to win a game. While the Warriors did hit a bunch of 3 pointers to tie the game up. And hurt as tired as the Lakers were there at the end. The Warriors seemed just as tired.

Looney still had 23 rebounds [emoji23]

Re: Western Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread

Finally watched the end of Game 1...after Curry tied the game at 112, Unbelievable how the Dubs could not get into proper defensive positioning. Even Van Gundy called out the defensive confusion live on the broadcast.

Just poor coaching strategy honestly, both in terms of implementation and execution...

Kerr is signaling for Zone, Draymond is celebrating the Curry 3 and then begins signaling for Zone, but the sign (2 arms up with closed fists) for Zone is the same motion as Dray's initial celebration when Curry tied the game. This was all lost on Wiggins, who "zoned" in on LeBron bringing the ball up.

In that bang-bang moment (because everyone knows to take the ball out quickly against the Dubs after they make a shot because they are often confused defensively after making buckets) Poole yanks on Wiggins jersey to pull him down into the paint so that he can have the top of the Zone against LeBron.

Seeing the Dubs confusion, LeBron makes the right basketball play and quickly gets it in to a WIDE OPEN DLo who has his choice...shoot the free open jumper or drive the rim and possibly get back to the free throw line yet again. 2 good choices against a guy on skates because of defensive strategy confusion.

If the Decision to go Zone wasn't bad enough, the situational awareness between coaches and players is so awful in that moment that you are forced to question "what is Kerr doing?"

This is where a 4x champion coach who won multiple chips with the greatest player (Jordan) as well as in one of the greatest systems (Spurs) is supposed to make a difference. He can't go out there and shoot or play D, but he can have his players prepared and on the same page for the end of close games. I mean, it was like "uh oh" Curry just chucked up and made some 3's so now the game is tied and now I have to coach. No way the Warriors could benefit from Zone in that moment anyway. Wiggins on LeBron and Green on AD was already the best situation. They were trying to hide Poole in the Zone but it was obviously just a disaster.

If it's that much of a problem having Poole in then he shouldn't be in at the end of games. But Dubs fans already know this. Kerr just refuses to accept it.

Preparing myself psychologically for one more game. Of course the away game that we would have to win, we have already done that but if we can get a 2-0 at the Warriors' home we absolutely can't lose this series. Above all I can only ask the AD to stay healthy, whatever the outcome of today's game.

If the Lakers can avoid the typical blowout after stealing game 1 I’ll be really impressed

What happened when someone broke the window back in the day? Game was postponed till another day?
