Stopping to review those plays is worse than the foul occurring in the first place.. I never understood why the NBA doesn’t want teams to be able to use the fouls they have to give. Sure it’s not a “real basketball play” but neither is stopping the game, going to stare at a screen for 5 minutes and disrupting the momentum of the game.

As far as being a clear path foul, it looked like Orlando had a guy back. I guess they decided LeBron was maybe 1 step ahead? Regardless they were basically in the half court by the time the foul occurred, just seems like a pointless *** rule when they could just let teams foul when they have fouls to give..

Lakers try way to hard to get the ball to AD. He’s going to have to average 40 for this to be effective offense. There isn’t another player on the floor that really benefits from cutting the court in half and clogging the driving lanes like it’s 2001.

It's weird to me that LeBron at some point this regular season could reach the point where he has played more total games as a Laker than he did in Miami. Already more seasons in LA. I don't know why that surprised me when I looked that up.

Think it just feels shorter because the injuries and a couple bad years. But yeah, year 6. He’s almost been there in terms of number of seasons as his first stint in Cleveland. That’s kinda crazy to me too.

Easy to completely forget the first year without AD because he missed so much time and they blew that whole roster up.. thinking back on that trade now, Lonzo is out and has been, BI misses half the year every year, none of those draft picks have turned into all star level guys.. Hart is a solid role player. Trade almost looks better for LAL now than it did fresh off that bubble ring.

Complaining about AD in 2023 seems like just a pointless exercise especially when you know what he is a player.

Only player with 10 years in the league and folks still waiting for that “If he could…” moment when it’s clear that it’s not coming.

But I also know a large chunk of that noise comes from where he plays at also.

Agree. I think defensively AD is everything and more. But offensively his shortcomings are weird. But because he plays in LA it's HUGE. 26, 19 and 3 blocks. Anyone in the league would like to have that guy on their team. But in LA is Championship or nothing.

idk if this is about what I posted during the game but I actually didn't mean that directed towards AD. I thought AD played great. It's the Lakers offense and forcing him the ball in spots that isolates half the court, and run nothing off of him. It's early in the year, but Ham has a lot to figure out.

DX has been getting people in trouble for over 25 years.

Funnier thing, Embiid will probably make more money because of doing this taunt than his fine is (because you know WWE/HHH would want to bring him on TV at some point, such as the Raw after Wrestlemania in Philly)
