The Spurs are still really, really bad. SMDH

It is starting to seem like letting the youngest team in the NBA - without a true starting caliber PG - 'feel things out' isn't a good strategy.

Draymond is unhinged.

He had that choke cinched in good and Gobert would’ve gone nighty night if Draymond was able to hold on for another 5-10 seconds.

Is Spurs being bad that much of an issue? Is there anything wrong with them getting 25 wins, a top pick and one year of xp for wemby?

I want them to be bad, but not get humiliated on national TV multiple times in a week's span.

The concern then becomes Pop losing the locker room and/or the players regressing instead of improving.

You already see Collins + Sochan losing their cool and 'gooning it up' instead continuing to compete and play basketball.

Yeah, he's going to get in trouble for that one, haha. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't kind of entertained by it though, not that I'm condoning the action.

Meanwhile, I made the mistake of reading the comments regarding this event on another website. Some are calling for charges filed, others are calling it dark and highly disturbing. I've never felt older or more out of touch. Always seems like it has to be one extreme or the other with some folks.

As a Pistons fan, I can vouch for this. I think there's times where people are a little too simplistic with team building, as though tanking or being awful for years on end has no effect on an organization beyond earning a high draft pick. That stuff can wear down an organization and its players real fast, to the point that you're suddenly where the Pistons find themselves - a once-proud organization just spinning its wheels, now known for being completely irrelevant on the modern landscape.

I partially blame the entire Warriors organization and his teammates for this type of ****.

He could've seriously hurt Gobert, but with him all this type of foul **** is brushed to the side (by that entire organization and fan base).

The NBA is an absolute joke if he doesn't get at least 20 games.

For sure, I just tend to believe in the culture and building elements pretty strongly too. And sometimes it feels like those sort of considerations can be pushed to the side for the sake of attempted program-building via draft.

I think some younger Pistons fans are realizing that now. There was a big push for the better part of the past four years to just mail it in and super tank year after year, but that routine wears thin with everybody, particularly any players who happen to be the ones playing through an entire season with seemingly little purpose beyond getting that paycheck and waiting for the next draft lottery.

The worst part is that he's TNT's boy so he'll only get about 2 games suspension and fined $100k and that's it

Dude hates Gobert too, he was just waiting for his chance to do this, Rudy had touched Klay for half a second and then Draymond pounces on him
