How many games until he's out of the MVP race?

I think Embiid only can miss a max of 6 games since he missed 11 already. So he has a half a season to only miss 6 games, not very likely. Only benefit is that there's only 5 sets of B2Bs left in season and most are scattered.

My concern is that Embiid banged knees against Pacers last game and was hobbling after that. I wouldn't want him to overdo it and get seriously injured

Sixers will go with Bev-Oubre-Batum-Morris-Embiid. Honestly not expecting a win with all the key absences. Just hoping for a close competitive game. Sixers would need guys outside of Embiid to hit shots and have to force ball movement with only capable "PG" being Pat Bev

And now Embiid is out smh and will get hit with another year of ducking allegations

But, I guess that they felt with all the guys out and him having the knee issues from last game, they don't want to force him out there.

I've learned my lesson now. I'm going to put on the Suns-Pacers game from last night. That was fun. When the Nets game starts later. I'll put that on. Looks like Vaughn is starting Cam Thomas instead of Cam Johnson.

I know once Embiid banged knees in the first quarter against Pacers, he wasn't going to play today. I was hoping that he would be able to play. It's disappointing, but it is what it is.

As a Sixers I don't like that narrative lol. One year he was in the middle of missing 10 games after the ASW, last year a situation where they played a B2B before it where he should have sat out the game against Suns. It's just a bad look to not be listed on the injury report and to get pulled late by medical staff. I fully expected him to be on the injury report after the Pacers game

Now it isn't a good look for him to not be on the bench, I will say that.


But it does feel like if they want to ensure Embiid plays in Denver, they either have to make it the Opening Day game or after the ASW

People are going to learn about Cam Whitmore! He's been playing really well. Besides shutting LaMelo up with back to back to back 3 pointers [emoji23]. He's a really good shooter.
