Come on now I think you guy's aren't giving Dallas enough credit. I realize that they let the Houston game get away from them in the 4th qtr Sunday but lets not forget they were in that game versus Houston until they just ran out of gas with out Dirk, Finley and Damps sunday.

Having said that this is why I had a debate not too long ago about who has the deepest team and best bench players. I think you guy's are forgetting that even without those players Dallas still has Jason Terry, M.Daniels, J.Howard, K.Van Horn, D.Harris and A.Henderson. Thats a solid group of players. It took them one game to adjust but Terry is no slouch, Howard and Daniels are capable of putting up big #'s when they get lots of minutes like they did lastnight and Henderson and Van Horn solid veterans that have started before in their career. Don't feel bad about this lost because i would have confidence in that group of players playing .500 ball even if they were asked to start every game. That is a damn good group of role players behind Dirk, Finley, Stack and Damps.

Back to back game on the road, the Raptors played the previous night in New Orleans, and Bosh played 41 minutes in the game. The Raptors also are terrible on the road in the first place, and Dallas is still a good team without those guys.

Also Dallas played Bosh very well, if every team played him like that, the Raptors would never win

That's what Donald Sterling keeps telling all those Clippers season ticket holders. Is there any wonder why he doesn't even bother trying to keep his team competitive in the league?

Actually the Clippers do win at home...they just can't leave there...

2 draft picks>Tim Thomas and Penny...Ok TT is playign good now,but we all know that won't last...

It's gonna take some time for the Raptors to be good.You're crazy if you think this will be turnaround over night.One way of speeding up the rebuilding process is to miss the playoffs this season and get a high draft pick.Eventually our bad contracts like Rose,Alvin,Lemon etc. will expire and Babs will have flexibility.I was a little impatient with him,but really it's not his fault that Gruwald spent so much of over the hill players(AD).

Babcock shot himself in the foot when he couldn't get players with expiring contracts as well as first rounders for VC.

The problem is that the Raps aren't losing enough to get a top 3-5 pick. Barring some lottery luck their own pick will be in the 8-12 range. One team that usually has picks in that similar range is the ..... Clippers.

The Raps have no cap room for next season so I wonder how they will improve unless the draft picks turn out to be good players or Hoffa all of a sudden develops into a solid NBA player.

When Rose expires we will have flexibility.I think when his contract is up,Babs will ask him to come back for a lesser amount.Knowing Rose though he'll refuse ause he'll still believe he's a 25 ppg scorer...

But don't forget we have 2 draft picks this year so we could use them to get 2 good players(Gerald Green,Jarrey Jack) or trade them for a higher pick and get Andrew Bogut...

To be serious though, Tornto is in a re-building stage and has a good center piece in Chris Bosh and make solid draft-picks they should do well and current;y right now still in contention for the playoffs.
