Must have been a stressful game for you guys. You can have all theses great players lined up but if you don't have that leader, the man, to get you through theses rough stretches it can go south really Quick. As well as embiid and curry played I still feel like without LeBron showing the way they might not go past Serbia who played and shot exceptionally well. Felt like they didn't miss for 3 quarters and point center Jokic was dishing masterfuly.

Took a historic team and a great effort to beat theses dudes. Serbia likely the best team if not for USA.

I didn't get to watch the 92 olympics team but I really felt like I was witnessing history last night. I knew they would find a way to win. Loved every seconds.

One thing I was baffled by is why didn't they go at Jokic who had 4 fouls with around 6 minutes left in the 4th.

That tactic in this kind is settling is dangerous. You just got to go with the hot hand in this situation.

They got the win so his buckets and some stops he had late definitely helped close it out, but at the same time if they hit a couple of those open looks they got because he seemed incapable of securing the defensive board and they end up losing he then looks like a big reason why.

That entire late game lineup Steph-Book-KD-Bron-Embiid just kept making big play after big play. Booker hit a massive straight ahead three pretty late as well that’s gotten overlooked because of everyone else too.

Wonder if Bogey raised his trade value back up a bit. He seemed in a slump as a NBA player over the last year and 1/2, some injuries and more awkward fit with the Murray addition. I could see some teams who had interest in him before that slide regaining that interest in him again now. He was great.
That's the up and down of Embiid’s game. I remember when that Middy wasn't consistent and it didnt feel like a good shot. Now that Free Throw Line extended Middy is deadly. Even his 3pts are better. He use to take way too many threes. Now I would like to see him take 3-5 3pt attempts.

But, his defensive rebounding his been his Achilles heel. It's all effort and lack of conditioning. You gotta want to rebound, his body language shows he doesn't want to or that he feel "I'm 7', i can just put my arms up and get rebounds". With Embiid, he conserves energy for the offensive end. 21-22, his defense took a step back as he was concerned with scoring. 23, his defense was improved. When Embiid is locked in on defense, he's one of the best paint defenders because he has high IQ and doesn't go block hunting. But, rebounding is another story. The thing is I remember seeing high 15+ rebound games in marquee matchups. It's there, it's just rare. Overall, the Olympics should be a good learning experience for Embiid. Not being the sole #1 option is great for him. For the Sixers, to do well, I feel Embiid is going to have to be the one who needs to take a step back offensively. I don't want him averaging 32+ppg. I rather see him averaging 28-12-5-2 and cutting back on turnovers.

Bogdanovic is someone I've had interest for the Sixers. He's a bucket getter, brings the moxie, has the size, and isn't a complete liability on defense. I do see him as a guy ATL will trade if they start slow. Bogdanovic isn't the type of player you keep around if you're rebounding and best to trade while value is at his highest

I'm just seeing all this talk about Jayson Tatum. All this **** will only matter if they lose.

I'm going back to bed. Germans look down right terrible. Serbia defense has shut it down.

Yeah the game wasn't really close.

It was still wild and sureal to me to see with my own eyes Jokic doing his thing. I even saw Nowitzki and Melo on the sideline. Absolutely crazy for me.

                    Loved it.

Won’t win man games if you brick the open looks after good execution.
