Re: Second Half of the Season March-April Regular Season Discussion

Not surprised a team like the Warriors would beat a young team like the Rockets. They don't care if the other team is the #2 seed or #1, they know what needs to be done. That said, Warriors won by 10, but Curry had to make some ridiculous shots.

Taking a glance at the season stats, seems the Warriors match well with them.

Lakers can play better but I'am not sure that roster can get passed Minnesota. Literaly no margin for error.
I see what you mean, I just think of exposed as meaning we thought they were something else or like a weakness no one knew about prior. All the things you list are things we already knew. Minnesota did a great job of exploiting LA's weaknesses
The only reason one would think this team is a threat is if you buy into the media hype imo.

That roster can definitely get past Minnesota. Minnesota's roster can definitely get past the Lakers. Its game 1; I wouldn't write any team off yet. Well maybe Memphis.

To me he looks like the epitome of that 3rd guy that plays great in that role and then goes on to accept a FA contract with a small to mid market team to be their number 1/2 and fails to meet expectations.

I would not be shocked if they took the series. They have just been around longer. They play amazing defense.

Brunson got too caught up in his matchup with Schroder on that his 3 pt attempt. Gotta get a better shot than that

I feel like this Clippers team, healthy, is a much more balanced team than Denver. But Normal Powell just hasn’t shown up yet.

Also it still blows my mind that defenders do not play Kawhi to make him go left lol… I feel like 9/10 times he can’t go right he picks his dribble up and passes. And I feel like I’ve been saying this for years, hundreds of possessions for scouts, players, coaches to sample..

I know it’s an easier said than done type of deal, but nobody even plays him to go left. Maybe they would rather force him to the side than let him go back to the middle of the floor. But damn it makes no sense to let him do what his comfortable with time and time again when it seems the opposite bothers him at least enough for me to randomly notice.

Are the Clippers going to blow another one? How is Jokic the guy you keep leaving open. How many open threes do they need to see him hit?

I'm screaming more about their aversion to boxing out on the defensive glass.

Stan's bias is getting out of hand here.

Kinda crazy how well Schroder has worked for a team that basically said "sure we'll help make the Jimmy trade work"

The Pistons are actually surprisingly deep. Their second unit is basically no worse (and frequently better) than their starters.

They really should be up 2-0 headed back to Motown.
