I never, ever believe in the Clippers or James Harden on any team being a contender.

Sengun is being held in check and Green only with 6 points. If Amen Thompson can develop a consistent jump, then he'll be a serious problem.

I do wonder if Rockets do make a big move. They have the assets. Half court offense is an issue if Sengun can't get going. Thompson is definitely someone I wouldn't want to move

Sengun is not ready to be a #1 option. Not until he develops a semblance of a jumper.
I know word out of Houston seems to suggest they won't make a move, but what they say during an intense postseason series vs what they end up doing in the offseason may be different

That and Jalen Green is way too passive. This is the type of game where they need Jalen to really take over. Rockets need to make a move. They need someone who can be a true #1. Neither Sengun or Green or FVV are #1

          This is a wrap.

Jalen is the interesting decision here. I feel fairly confident that we know the kind of player Sengun is going to max out as. He's going to be similar to Sabonis. But Green still has the skillset to be so much more. Houston has to make a bet; do they put their money on this postseason being a growing pain that gives Jalen the push needed or do they put their money on this postseason exposing Jalen as a guy who's never going to be ready?

Warriors needed Buddy Hield to go God Mode to win that. I'm thinking Anthony Edwards averages 40ppg and it's a rough go next round.

Amen tryed to take over that game it was impressive. He's got that Butler build. For the Rockets to contend Green has to take that next step but he doesn't look ready.

And the Pacers take game one. Haliburton is really a top tier point guard.

If I'm the Rockets, I'm moving off Jalen Green. As it is now, they need both Sengun to develop a mid range shot and Green to be that efficient 25-30 point go to scorer. Green is heading into year 5 and only 23, I'd want someone else to bank on that potential. Thompson is the one I want to keep and bank on that potential. As Vni said, Thompson was the one who was trying to take over, especially in the 2nd half. Green always ended up in the corner the whole 2nd half. I remember a play where Thompson drove right, while Green was in the corner on the left calling for the ball. Thompson missed and Green was pouting. Thompson just needs a consistent pull up Middy and work on drawing fouls and he can be a star.

Even if they want to jump in the Giannis sweepstakes, Rockets would need to transform the roster more to fit Giannis. Giannis needs more spacing. He doesn't fit with a lot of the key guys in Houston

Garland's health could swing that series. Broadcast said that if it was the regular season, they would've shut him down for 1-2 weeks. Garland is a liability on defense, but they need his shot creation. Mitchell had 33 points on like 30 FGs, that isn't going to cut it

That was a situation where I rather had Tatum drive against Mtfhell instead of settling for a stepback three. He had time and he had Robinson stumbling

Ah, that was a great look by Brunson

That was a hella impressive OT by Bridges. That is what young players fantasize about

Win or lose, going for 15-60 from 3pt is ugly. I never cared for Boston's style of play. They settle for too many threes instead of taking good drives

Bridges was the man tonight. 51 minutes and 3 stocks in OT
