NEW YORK -- Orlando Magic guard Steve Francis was suspended indefinitely by the NBA on Saturday for kicking a courtside photographer in the fourth quarter of the Magic's loss in Seattle on Friday night.

The NBA will investigate further before determining the length of the suspension. Former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman was suspended for 11 games and fined $25,000 for kicking a courtside cameraman on Jan. 17, 1997.

Francis, who had 19 points for the Magic, denied kicking the man.

"He threw my legs down, man. That was it," Francis said Friday night. "No. Uh, uh. I don't know what happened."

The Magic played at Portland on Saturday night.

You should at least by a little optimistic... you have good reason to.

I don't think its enitrely crazy for the Magic to sneak into the playoffs with the 8 seed.... I mean there only a game out right now...and Jameer Nelson is a capable player along with Dwight Howard.

If I was Magic fan I hope he's suspended for the rest of the season. They actually have a better chance to make the playoffs now without him. Ever since the Mobley trade he's pouted and played like a selfish little bitch and the Magic have gone downhill.

At least this gives Francis the time to concentrate on writing quality love letters to his girlfriend Cuttino.

Better news for the sixers. I think the bulls are playoff locks, Im hoping for a bulls/wiz 5/4 matchup. From the preseason fight to the post-jordan success, its a good storyline.
