False Impressions (for the most part)

I just read this article about Nba live 2003. Because of Publicity like this, many people assume....

     Jason Takes on Carlos

During the Cavaliers Open Scrimmage and Team Preview on October 5, Jason Cancel of Lorain went head-to-head with Cavaliers Forward-Center Carlos Boozer… without hitting the hardwood! That’s because they were playing PlayStation’s “NBA Live 2003,” courtesy of EA Sports. Jason was the grand prize winner from WAKS and earned his place on the couch next to Carlos. They played two six-minute quarters with Jason scoring 72 to Carlos’s 49 points. Fans were able to follow the action as the game aired on Gund Arena’s Jumbotron. In addition to playing the video game, Jason received two tickets to the Cavaliers home opener against the Lakers and Carlos autographed a basketball for him. Eighteen lucky fans also registered and won a copy of game Jason and Carlos played.

We assume that its merely all offense and no defense, all show, and really no set plays, that this game is arcadey.

Having said that, I hope you get what i'm saying. "76 points in 12 minutes of play" thats a hell of a lot of scoring.

Then again, once you play it, you can make it whatever you want it to be.

Of course if you're playing on starter difficulty with two human controlled teams, there will be absolutely zero defense

who cares its a fun game..if u set it at a higher difficulty it plays less "arcady"...if i wanted to play an actual sim game id go get in a pick up game at the park district...but these are video games...supposed to be fun exciting and entertaining...i dont see what your point is...are you just trying to justify your purchase of 2k3 ..trying your best to love the game and trying your best to make NBA live look like crap just to make yourself feel good about your 2k3 purchase? if so ..thats sad..maybe u should play the game yourself and not judge based on some persons article ...

I own both Live and 2k3 and my honest opinion is that live is arcadish and 2k3 is more simulation. Simple as that!

And yes i really do wanna hurt u.
