    Rookie of the Year

Everyone sayin Ben Gordon, it's big Meka Okafor. I'm a little bias, but Meka leads all rookis in scoring, rebounds, blocks, and double-doubles. Ben plays on a better team by far but thats about all. He scores off the bench but that is about it. It took Ben a little while to get started but Emeka has been going strong since the season began. Im not knocking Ben at all, he is an exciting player. Now big ben is a favorite for 6th man of the year and rightfully so, but ROY should go to Okafor IMO.

    Andre Iguodala

I'm biased, and I know he won't win it, but he deserves some serious consideration. He's the most complete rookie in the league right now.

Who should win it? I'd say Okafor. It's tough being a rookie on a terrible team, but to put up the numbers he did is impressive. Gordon had a great year, but he had a much better supporting cast than Okafor.

I like Iguodala to, he can do everything you need him to. Jack of all trades type player, can score, rebound really well and share the rock, also good defense, and I dont think he's missed a start yet.

        Putting stats aside...

I don't think I've been more impressed with anyone than Dwight Howard. That kid is going to be VERY good. He shows a lot of polish for a baby.

Ben Gordon.. but hey I'm biased.

No one has been more clutch than Ben... and he has accomplished this playing 20 something minutes a game.

Remember the Bulls was looking lottery bound when they started 0 - 9.

I think Gordon and Okafor were neck and neck for a while. But in the last couple weeks, I think Okafor took it. So, I think Okafor is going to win the ROY.

Gordon will probably win 6th Man Award.

Howard is an amazing talent for someone so young. He is going to be pretty an all-star in 2-3 years.

              Hoffa.................

Oops .... we're actually talking about who's the best rookie and not the best bust ... I would go with Okafor. Very solid all around game and he had very little talent surrounding him.

Ok. Lot of bias here since people from Chicago(like myself) is taking Gordon, people from Charlotte is taking Okafur and people from Philly is voting for Iguodala. So I'll give you the all rookie team:

                - Ben Gordon
                - Emeka Okafur
                - Andre Iguodala
                - Dwight Horward
                - Josh Childress

Shaun Livingston but I'm bias too. J/K maybe if he hadn't been injured most of the season because he did pretty good towards the end while starting.

Gordon or Iguodala. I think they did more for their teams than Okafor or Howard did but that never seems to matter when the actual voting takes place.

Of course I'd vote for Okafor, but I wont be upset if Gordon gets it. He's just really one-dimensional right now on a pretty good squad. Okafor had to carry the load on an expansion team. I think both will be fine proffesionals in this league, though.

Even though I would love to see Ben Gordon win ROY and 6th Man I think Okafor will win it. He has been consistent throughout the year. Ben Gordon has shot the ball rather poor the last 2-3 weeks and that will hurt him in the voting.

I dont know. That one game he had against Charlotte a week or two ago is when he lit them up for 20-something points in the 4th quarter and 30-something in the game.
