no matter how you try and make yourself belive that live or Id 2003 is better then 2k3, just rember that saga is the best when coming to sports games hands down. I know its only my opition but live and ID2003 just dont compare with 2k3 and are going in differnt paths then sega. Sega is really tring to bring sports games to us in a way that is so real its scary. The other companys are just puttng out crap in my opition..NOne of the other to games come close to 2k3 franchise mode no one not even the real NBA..lol. You guys who love 2k3 no what I mean. So until I see some better progress from EA and Microsoft all I got to say is Bring dont sing it.....2k3 Is the best of the best,,,,,bottom line

2K2 bored me to tears, so I haven't even played 2K3. I'm waiting to read more about all three before I decide, although I've already ruled out Live.

Same for hockey.

ID sounds interesting but an MS game with no online play is disturbing. If it's THAT good I may just get both.

For hockey just get NHL2k3. that's one I think there will be no long debates about.

I am real nit picky when it comes to videogame basketball, but id2003 does alot of things good but whut is a turn off for me is how badly the shooting animation is from jump shot to line drive jumpers to net animation that absolutly kills me when all the other videogames do it so well, even the bad bball games can get better animation then that..I swear that videogame companys can always make a great bball title 95% of the time but that other 5 % drives me nuts..arrrgh, like nba live yerrible passing which kills me for that game and super duper blocks. or 2k3 when a guy takes the ball to the hole the defender slides like he is on ice..Dang guys that is easy stuff to fix..oh thats right u have something to improve on each year so people will by your games... ..I just want near perfection like Madden........

I agree to a point sega does bring it with the basketball..But i gotta give the football to EA with madden..nfl2k3 did not have the polish madden has and the madden francihise is the deepest I have ever seen in a game the only thing that comes close the the madden franchise is ncaa 2003 dynasty ...IMO anyways but I will leave the football thoughts nextdoor in the football thread....Sega almost has it all on lock but they stilll have a little tweakiing to do..Man i cant wait to see what is done in live 2003 and 2k4 EA will come back strong amd I wanna see if sega makes changes to stay up to todays standards in B-ball
