NBA 2K3: Want a challenge? Play Zone D...
The other day my 2nd unit came in and the Kings decided to play zone, I'm assuming because my 2nd unit didn't have great shooters. Anyway, I tried playing zone myself and its hard as hell, playin man to man is MUCH easier, if you want a little challenge, try playing zone...let me know if you have played zone or the CPU has played zone against you.Tags: None -

Yea I tried zone one time and instantly switched back to man to man. It always seems to be someone open in your zone, especially in the paint.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group) -

I play zone a lot, well about as much as NBA teams do.
If you switch to a zone you'll notice the CPU have a little trouble running their offense and sometimes taking bad shots for a couple of plays until they adjust...then I switch back to man to man.
If there are good shooters on the court I play 1-3-1 if not but big men, 2-3.
CPU plays zone on me and it screws me up if I don't realize it's a zone too.Comment

Re: NBA 2K3: Want a challenge? Play Zone D...
I actually play zone quite a bit. If there is ever one player that starts going off on me, I switch up to a zone, usually a 2-3 or 3-2. On the 2-3 I take one of the front guards, on the 3-2 I take the point guard. Then I always go and help wherever the ball is, and make sure I don't leave any good shooter open for a three. Sometimes I just stay in zone for a whole game...it all depends on the team. Against teams with good slashers, or penetrators, I will play zone. Against good shooting teams, I play man.Comment

I actually use zone most of the time. I switch the zones constantly though. It is very effective if you switch often.Comment
