Game with the best shooting ANIMATIONS

Whats up I'm a big basketball gamer in my own right and I am going to get NBA2K3 for the XBOX in a couple of days. But what I want to know is what game out of Live 2003 and NBA2K3 has the best shooting animations.

I mean I'm talking about jumpshots, fade away jumpers, fade- aways from the post. I think good animations of jumpshots really adds to a game and gives it a very realistic feel. IMO I thing that last years Inside drive had the best overall animation for a jump shot although I loved the fade away jumper from the post in 2k2. But please help me which game do you think has the best jump shot animations...

Even though i do not like Nba live 2003 it has the best looking standing jump shot animation I have ever seen, but 2k3 has the best side jumper and fade away. I wish 2k3 had a little better" ball through net animation"... live has the slight edge even thou the net itself looks hand drawn.

From what I've heard of Live's animations my guess would be it's better than 2k3. I like a lot of the animations in 2k3 and though they're not that bad, the jump shot has to be the one I like the least. From the side it looks good but straight on is a little off.

Live has excellent shooting animations. There are various shot animations for different players such as rasheed wallace, antoine walker, and allan houston, and just general animations for centers, fowards, and guards.

live has bank in 3 pt shots...2k3 has much better ball-rim physics, you have roll-ins, in and outs, perfect swishes, rattlers, everything...if shooting animations is your main concern about which game to get? i don't know really know what to say...

uh well, yeah the ball physics in 2k3 are very nice but I thought he wanted to know about the jump shot animation.

Tim Duncan's jumpshot animation is dead-on. If you shoot from the elbow he goes off glass, just like in real life.

can anyone give me a detailed description of the running jumper in 2k3? is it anything like 2k2, or is it one handed, etcc./

                thanks

They have both kinds. When closer to the basket, they'll generally do the one handed running jumper. It's very nice, IMHO.

Re: Game with the best shooting ANIMATIONS

The jump shot animations in live are btter b/c they are varied from player to player.
The fade away looks better in live also b/c cause it looks more fluid. in 2k3 they sort of turn around and do a jump shot animation floating backwards.
In 2k3 wen you run to the hole they will do that famouse Allen Iverson floater which looks dope. The lean in shot also looks decent for both games with a little edge going to 2k3.
And they last second shot from behind in the back court looks better in 2k3 b/c they acually **** thier hand back and throw the ball. In live they toss it very quickly with one hand as if you were lob passing it to the rim.
