NBA 2K3: So You CAN Put Created Players in FA List for Franchise

In doing the whole create more than 10 players thing, you find out how to create a player, and make it so he's on the FA List. All you do is create the player, put him on a created team, delete him, take him from the created team to his actual team, then release him from that team to the FA list.

Can this only be done PRIOR to begininng a season or franchise?
Or can you do this in the middle of a season/franchise?

If anybody's interested, I might take some time n the coming weeks to create all the missing players for nba2k3 (theres about 25 missing players so far) and then I will be creating all of the Free agents. I found a list of about 150 current Fa's.

Who will be interested in that?
