Me too. Usually the CPU makes some good subs for me. But at times, I want to control who is coming in or not. I like making some players just go off, or if I see a mismatch that I can exploit. Depends on the game and the situation.

I let the com do it also unless they make a stupid sub like putting the SF at PG and the SG at PFwhich happend in a couple of games. I also found the solution to why they do that,
it seems to only happen when you have a short roster, when someone is injured and you did'nt set your lineups.
But besides that, the CPU does a pretty good job with subing.
Sometimes if there is'nt a dead ball they wont call time out to sub and your players will remain in the game for a entire quater but that rarely happens also. so after a long stretch of up and down basketball, I'll call a TO, and they will sub accordingly.

I just do all the subbing myself.

It kind of adds to the overall strategy for me. It makes me figure out what matchups will work out best and when a guy needs to come out. It just adds to the sometimes-lacking fun of NBA 2K3.

I make all the subs myself...end of story. I like to feel in control of the entire game. I expect production out of everyone that plays....if they miss too many layups than they sittin by me on the pine.(old school thinkin)

I do all the subbing myself, I never let the cpu make the substitutions.

Yeah I started letting the cpu doing it but then i got into a situation and the cpu put some sf in my pg spot..I had alvin williams as my point and i had Fisher i got from a trade from the lakers... A sf rated 68 got put in over Deric fisher who was like at 73 rating..I was like woa!!..and I started doing it myself i almost lost that game..Then i liked the fact i could do it myself made me feel like I was the coach you know..I have my own little rotation plan now and it works out quite nice...
