SD.....not to mean that he isnt a great player, he IS, he is damn underrated and can light up a statsheet and he's electrifying. That said, the reason I call him cheap is the flopping. I dont have much respect for guys who continually flop a la Ginobilli, Divac, Fisher, Horry, Fox....just about 80% of the NBA itself.

By the way, yes, you guys did beat us in 2003, but we gave you the biggest challenge of that playoffs, and there's no denying it. Plus, this Phoenix team is entirely different than that years. I'm not saying we'll beat you guys, in fact, I've had the Spurs as the favorites all year. But dont discount us, please. The rest of the NBA has been doing so for the whole year, and they still continue.

Yeah, he does flop too much. Way, way, way too much.
I just can't blame the guy because as "cheap" as it is - it works.
It shouldn't, but it does. For some reason, the refs just can't see it... or don't choose to.

The reason so many players flop is two-fold.
One, it works, like we've said.
Two, there's no risk in doing so. A player will almost never get called for taking a dive - I haven't seen that call made myself in nearly a decade - so why not do it? Until and unless the NBA decides to do something about it, it'll be epidemic around the league.

And, you're definitely right - it does make the product less entertaining to watch, and that's too bad.

The cheapshot by melo won't have any effect on giniboli. This is my opinion of course but I think Manu is just tougher mentally and physically. Physical play won't faze him out of the game. He is on another level than melo mentally.

Oh, I can do a lot more than that.

So, if I were you, I'd start giving a "hootie tootie" and clean up your act before I do it for you. I'll be watching.

Did Chauncey Billups get fined when he undercut Richard Jefferson earlier this season and broke his wrist?

I'm all for hard, playoff fouls. But if I remember correctly, the Spurs/Nuggets game was pretty much decided when Melo laid him out.

Am I suppose to be scared or frightened by you? LOL

So you're a writer here @ the forums, whoopie damn doo, maybe even with super Mod powers to ban people & send them to the cell? Whoppieeee!

If you're going to throw your little online status around like george Karl's belly, then I hope you pat yourself on your head & say "Good boy" simply b/c I or someone else doesn't share your same opinion on a subject? These forums are public & open to people like me to post my opinion & thoughts as I wish, as long as it falls within the guidelines & rules of the forum, which I have & am doing.

Sorry if your ego can't handle it like your boy George Karl's pants can't handle his belly.

I'll take shots @ people who take shots @ me, goes mano a mano.

Anyway, MarshMELO Anthony & the Thuggets are fortunate he wasn't suspended for that foul, as video shows he & I believe Candyman (Camby) threw their forearms into Manu out of frustration. What if Manu had been seriously hurt there?

Uncalled for, but I like & respect how manu handled it, through the media & on the court.

1st RD had a few interesting matchups on paper, had some entertaining games. Spurs should close it out 2morrow night @ the SBC & move on for what looks likely to be the Sonics.

Hopefully by then we'll have our guys a little better healed up (Rasho, Devin Brown) go Spurs!

Very true pratt, but I hate when people use their titles to try & intimidate me, especially when airing my point of view.

It wasn't meant to intimidate you - it was a clear warning.
Apparently, you're not grasping the concept.

On the bright side, you'll now have some free time to study it further.
