This guy has had some amazing 4th quarters. Its a very well deserved honor for Mr. Gordon.

This vote better have at least been close. There's no reason this should be a runaway.

Well done Ben. Hopefully this gives him a boost for tomorrow. He hasn't shown up since game 1.

Getting Rookie Of The Year as well would be sweet. What an achievement that would be? Never been done before. I think Okafor will get it though.

It wasn't very close: "He received 88 of 125 first-place votes and 513 points from a panel of media members. Boston guard Ricky Davis was second with 257 points, and Denver guard Earl Boykins was third with 155."

As badly as I despise him, Ricky Davis should have been the 6th man of the year in my opinion. Better average, FG, etc... But congratulations to Gordon anyway.

Davis played too many minutes per game to deserve the sixth man of the year.

Yeah Ben Gordon only plays 24 minutes a game. He would average over 30 points a game if he played 48 minutes. 15 points a game in only 24 minutes is impressive. I think this was the key in the voting.

Had he not missed so many games with injuries, Jerry Stackhouse would have won this.

only thing about Gordon is that he can be chucker at times. Congrats on winning the award. I think his impact on the Bulls was greater than Davis' impact with the C's.
