    NBA 2K3 and dive attempts

Playing in franchise mode. I have played a good 15 games or so and simmed the rest. I have still to see any dive attempts to save a basketball that is going out of bounce. I remember seeing it once or twice in an exhibition game. Maybe it's my luck, but I haven't seen this move in my franchise games. Have you guys seen this move? and if so, how often have you seen it?

I actually did it with MJ. It looked so sweet. I've only done it once and I've seen the CPU do it once or twice and I am 20 games into my franchise.

I get the dive animation atleast once a game. Either I would do it or the cpu would do it. It's very cool. Nothing to write home about, but adds more realism to the game.

I do it alot in my franchise games, when the ball hits off somebody from a bad pass and is heading out of bounds I do it quite often. U just have to get use to it.
There are about three diffrent dives i seen. and most of the time it goes to the wrong team. I even did it one time and it hit the player on the oppisite team while he was standing out of bounds. SWEET!!!

Out of the 13 games in my fanchise I have yet to see the computer do it. I do it most the time. But the CPU does'nt really throw passes that hit my defenders, so I usually do it for the hell of it sometimes, when it hits the CPU defenders just for practice.
It also will head out of bound after a block that goes over 3 feet, both of us will give chase, and they will let it roll out and I dive for it.

I've seen a few on-the-floor dives so far, but the best one I saw wasn't a dive at all. I was playing as the Kings and the ball was passed but deflected off a player and was bouncing high out of bounds when Webber jumped in the air, going out of bounds and made a one-handed save, throwing it back in bounds, with Divac coming up with the ball over a shorter Net player. I spent 5 minutes watching the replay from almost every angle. Very cool.
