    Two Questions about NBA 2K3

    1. Has Sega come out with a new roster set?

    2. With the slider settings that are listed for home and away, do I need to adjust them depending on where I am playing? For instance, if I want to bump down the AI shot percentages, do I need to do that before every game depending on where I am playing?

    Appreciate the help guys.

    1. Not to my knowledge
    2. I think home/away sliders only affect your controlled team. I think that way, you could make your team play better at home then on the road or vice versus. There are few additional sliders that control the AI team. (I am not exactly sure if this is correct).

Home/Away sliders affect both AI-controlled and user controlled players. I know because I watch CPU vs CPU sometimes.

Which is kind of a bad design decision, since the purpose of the sliders is to make the AI harder/easier depending on your ability. The homecourt advantage thing is cool, but at the same time there really should be a built-in kind of homecourt advantage in the game, not something that the user can actually set parameters for since it's impossible to gauge how important homecourt is. Besides, who wants to continually adjust sliders for the AI being a home team or an away team? you'd have to do that for every time the home team is the AI or the away team is the AI just to get that same handicap against you. Still, it's not that big a deal. I'd rather have Visual Concepts work on the defensive side of things than focus their time on this because it's not that significant.
