The Sonics are doing A LOT of talking...

    Ray Ray on Bowen...

"What he's doing is not really basketball," Allen said in reference to Bowen, the Spurs' staunch defensive specialist. "Anybody in the league will tell you he's one guy you can't stand because of the way he plays defense. It's not like he's staying in front of you or he's keeping you away from scoring.
I like Ray.He's outspoken. He doesn't mind speaking his opinion like on Kobe the olympics and now this...And BB is known for being dirty.

    Jerome James on Timmy D

"Duncan is a superstar, one of the best at it," James said. "Taking nothing away from his craft, he's one of the greatest 4-men to ever play the game, and I feel like he gets a lot of calls. Some of the calls he gets, you're going to get them anyway. You don't have to cry for it. You don't have to ask for it.

"All game long he's constantly in the [ear] of the referees. ... He's always complaining about what I'm doing, what Danny is doing and what Reggie is doing. And sooner or later, you keep preaching the same thing to somebody, they are going to start looking for it even if it ain't there."
Now james should shut his yap. He's talked way too much this playoffs for a guy who's just trying to cash in on his next pay check. He's not an All-Star and he shouldn't be talking smack.

Interesting. i really think Seattle can give them a series. they have a physical front line that can rebound. Add two great perimeter scorers in Allen and Lewis and I think we could have a great series on our hands. I still think the Spurs could win though in 6 or 7.

      No Answer for Duncan...

Allen has to continue averaging 32.4 a game.

I think Fortson, James, and Evans are gunna give Duncan a helluva time in the paint. Didnt Fortson do a great job on him earlier this year?
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Honestly the Bruce Bowen thing is dead on. I watched the Nuggets series with no bias and would have to say bruce bowens pushes bumps and holds more than offensive lineman. He got away with pushing Melo in the back the whole series eveytime he took him down on the block and the refs never blew the whistle.

Timmy is a mega star nuff said. Mega stars get what they want from the refs, not saying Jerom should be commenting on the situation but I don't see it being false or anyting.

Sonics need this swagger. Because if they doubt them selves not many people outside of their diehard fans give them a chance. Allen is doing the right thing putting it out there as he as done in the past that bowen is dirty that way the pressure is on the refs because people will be watching. Melo might not get the respect but Ray Allen might

we'll finally see if mcmillian is the coach everyone says he is. but seattle is going to be a tough opponent. TD doesn't play that well when the opponent is very physical. look at what amare did earlier. i think the x-factor is ginobili, the sonics dont have anyone to contain him, but also, he's undersized to guard any of the sonics really.

Good point.Rashard could have a big series if Bowen is gonna be checkin' Ray Ray.I could see Horry playing some vs 'Shard.

James needs to keep putting up 18 and 10

                    Lewis needs to start scoring

                    Ridnour needs to stay consistent

Allen needs to do what he's doing now.

All in all, I think SEattle can take this one, SA is good, but seattle is gonna be ruthless.

Since when was Tony Parker a good defender??? All he is, is quick...Hes nt gonna shut nobody own defense...he's too small to stop Daniels and Ridnour is possibly equally as quick...

No he won't. Ofcourse the Spurs are gonna be a tougher opponent than Sac but at that same time, Seattle will be a tougher opponent than Denver because they have much better outside shootin. Lewis has given SAS problems all season so unless Bowen defends him, he won't be shut down unless he shuts down himself like he did in some of the games in the Sac series. James and Evans are bangers and IMO, their frontcourt is better than Denver or atleast just as good because they have depth. Once Kenyon got in foul trouble, it was pretty much over for Denver in regards to stoppin Duncan and proposin a better inside attack. Seattle has an aggresive frontcourt along with bringin an energizer like Collison and Fortson off the bench, with RADical who can challenge one of SA's frontcourt players outside. Seattle has enough weapons to rely on that Ray doesn't have to score like he did in the Sac series. Theres no question he'll have to score and probably lead the series in scorin but I think him gettin the others involved and not forcin the issue will be what challenges SA. I'm so ready for this series...

*And I agree cdub. Tony Parker shuttin down anyone is a joke. Ofcourse he can punish them on offense but thats where it stops.

Spurs in 4 or 5. Sorry Seattle fans, you're out of your depth here.
