He did it to VC once this year and once last year. He did it to Ray in this series and I think he's done it to him before. BB is a punk.

Re: Ray Ray...Again...
1. BB didn't injure Allen's ankle. Even Allen admitted that later that he hadn't even seen the tape.
2. Did you hear Allen's other ridiculous quotes? That BB gets "too close" to him while he's playing defense. Are you kidding??? Now you can't crowd people while they're shooting.
3. Kobe has never said that BB is a dirty player. It always comes from the weak-minded players in this league when they lose to the Spurs, ie Vince Carter, Ray Allen, and Michael Finley. T-Mac, LeBron, Kobe have never said anything bad about Bruce, even when they lose.
4. What is BB supposed to do? Give Allen all the room he wants to shoot?
5. The same Ray Allen was shooting his mouth off about how Jerome James and Danny Fortson were going to take Parker and Ginobili's heads off when they come down the lane. What a hypocrite! Why is it dirty to "get too close" to a shooter but not to intentionally try to injure someone when they come down the lane?
Now did you see the Spurs crying about that? How about when Buckner and Melo tried to take Manu's head off in the Nuggets series? All Manu said was that it was a hard foul, they're frustrated, and he'd probably do the same thing.
The whining by these guys is out of control. Just play the game and take your beatings like a man.
6. Allen had like 25 last night and it didn't much of a difference, now did it?Comment

Originally posted by HardwoodHeisman1As much as I hate Bruce Bowen because of the hell he gives Kobe, he's not a dirty player IMO. I think these days in the NBA there is so less of an emphasis placed on defense that the slightest touch on a player is considered a dirty tactic by some people. He's physical and I just think he hangs his hat on defense because he knows that is his strength, so at times he can appear overly-aggresive. Dirty? NO...Comment

what is BB supposed to do when Carter is kicking his legs out like that? Just let him have four feet of open space around him so he can take a wide open jumper?Comment

Re: Ray Ray...Again...
Allen was getting all the calls last night. Didn't make much of a difference as the Sonics never strung any back-to-back defensive stops to get back within striking range.
It'll be interesting to see how the series plays out with the Sonics playing at home.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Lets just say VC does kick his legs out when he shoots jumpers (which he doesn't). It still doesn't give Bowen the right to stick his feet under his legs when he is coming down. Eddie Jones shut down VC in the playoffs and didn't have to do anything dirty to stop him.Comment
