    05-06 Minnesota Timberwolves Team Thread

Well we made some changes this off-season and ultimately i think it will be for the better. I mean it can't get much worse than last season and i think we got rid of the poisons. We may not look like a tough team on the cover but I think the team will mesh well this year and lead to more wins and back in the play-offs. Heres to a winning season

timberwolves lost to the bucks last night in the first pre-season game. garnett and jaric sat out coaches decision, and wally sprained his left foot in the third qtr. hopefully it wont be bad cause that would suck. mccants did lead all scorers for both teams with 18 on a high note.

Well I honestly do not know what to expect out of this team. I can see the chemistry being better with us having a let down year this year. I can also see some players stepup and us making the playoffs. I hope Jaric plays well because I did not like giving up that 1st round pick for him. Hopefully we play better on D though because we were just downright awful last year.

        Wolves' fans...

I saw McCants dropped 18 points last night. Now, I know it's preseason, but does he look like an NBA player at only 6'3?

Good thing we wasted one of our only 1st round picks on Ebi. If this doesnt show Glenn Taylor that he needs to get a better GM or lessen McHales role with the team, I dont know what will. This is why we are at the point we are, we are terrible in drafts.

Yeah I know....he has not been great in Drafts and we could not afford to have our 1st first round pick in a while be wasted...

played the blazers tonight and won by 4. so off to a good start. jaric had 14 so that was decent, garnett 18, wally 16, mccants shot poorly and had 6 but what suprised me the most is this:

richie frahm: 15 minutes 5-6 fg...5-6 3pt= 18 points.... dude must have been on fire!! i didnt get to watch the game but im just glad we won. hope everyone stays healthy. any of you guys get to watch the game? if so how did they look?

I saw bits and pieces as I was studying for a relatively important test, but we looked better defensively. A lot better and hopefully it carries throughout the season. We definately tried to run the ball a lot more. When Frahm came in I had no idea who he was, but he played pretty good. KG was clutch down the stretch and Eddie Griffin and Jaric played great D at the end of the game.

Well despite the loss I saw some encouraging things last night. We played pretty good team defense and the Kandi man looked like he had a pulse a couple times during the game which is more life than he has shown as a T-Wolf without a taser being involved. I am glad we picked Jaric up as well. He plays good D and hustles all over. Most importantly though, KG and Wally looked like they enjoyed playing with each other. They were high fiving and slapping each other on the butt and looking for each other's open shots. It looks like they may have realized that they need each other to win.

well timberwolves are now 3-3 with a loss to the nuggets tonight even when kenyon martin doesnt even play . losing games like this irritates me to no end.

Have a blast man! I hope you are close enough to the court so you can hear KG. He is crazy with his tongue sometimes! You know the Big Ticket will make it worth the price of admission though!! Yell at the Kandi man for me!
