Ultimately Jefferson is going to be better at PF. I'm praying for Oden. Right now I'm obsessed with getting chicago's NY pick for Pierce... imagine if we got Durant and Oden

    Rondo
    Green
    Durant
    Jefferson
    Oden

    West
    Telfair
    Wally
    Gomes
    Perkins

yes its an absolute dream but that would be the glorious

    The dynasty will return

Al Jefferson was awesome tonight. 29 points 14 rebounds is great, hopefully in the future he'll be able to have more games like this and be consistent.

I definitely don't want to see Al or Green traded to get Iverson. If anything I would say trade Pierce because by the time the rest of the team is good enough Paul will be past his prime. Imagine if they got Oden or Durant though, if they got Oden and he lived up to the hype I think that they would win a another championship with'in 5 years.

Do the C's even win a game the next three weeks while Pierce is out?

They're bound to win at least A game but more then that looks slim...

Gerald is playing very well tonight, 19 pts in 16 minutes. It's been said before but he is really fun to watch and he has so much potential. And he's starting to get better. Anyone see that Telfair to Green alley oop? Green almost hit his chest on the rim he was so high.

I don't understand why Wally is starting over Green. Wally 29 min 13 pts, Green 19 min 21 points. Green is one of the better 3pt shooters in the league and has a mid range shot and is getting stronger to take it into the paint. Wally on the other hand has been throwing up bricks and still isn't healthy.

Well Tony Allen is probably done for the season after tonight. I guess he blew out his knee. Add to that Pierce is still out a few weeks, Wally is out again for 1-2 weeks and Delonte hurt his back again the other night. Looks like we have a top 5 pick pretty much in the bag...

I couldn't stop giggling when I read the title of this thread. Umm..does anybody still have faith in Danny Ainge's "masterplan"? I think that his previously mentioned master plan has the same validity as Mr. Snuffleupagus and Santa Claus.

This team is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E. They have one good player. If he plays one more game this season, I'm not even sure there are words to describe how braindead the basketball operations staff would be. Rivers is an utter clown masquerading as somebody who knows what he is doing. I used to think of him as merely mediocre, but he is truly abominal.

Dear god let them get the #1 pick in the draft. Should they not land Oden, I'm not sure they can escape this purgatory for eons.

I love watching the Celtics pre-game. They were arguing about who would fit better with Jefferson, Durant or Oden. Hopefully this team can let Doc finish tanking this season wether its on purpose or not and then fire him and completely start over. But I still have this feeling that the Celtics would end up with like the 3rd pick in the draft and miss out on Oden and Durant, thats just this teams luck.

Hopefully in a few years when the Celtics might be decent again the rivalry can continue.

Pierce, Jefferson, and Oden/Durant could bring back the Celtics!!!!! But for tonight Go Lakers!!!

I was at the Lakers/Celtics game the other night. Wow, was that awful. Kobe was unstoppable, (although his shot selection is worse than abysmal) and the fans started cheering mvp for him which just made it a nightmare.

I hope there really is a silver lining for this team but I don't think it will come in the form of Pau Gasol who I keep reading about in Celtics articles.

Ah well, Rondo is having a good first career start tonight against the Clips

                                Pretty close.

Oh man...please just don't let them **** up getting the #1 or #2 pick.

I'd rather have #2 if Oden and Durant come out, because then there's no second guessing. You take who the team picking #1 doesn't.

Though...I can see the C's getting the 3rd pick and grabbing Noah, in which case I will never be able to watch the C's play again because I absolutely hate that man.
